Attitude or simplicity...which one is preferrable..???

I would not single out any of the two words that are desirable in a human being. I would say that there has to be a right balance of the two words. A person with too much attitude is never liked and people think of him as an idiot, however tough he might act. On the other extreme, if you are too simple a person, people would not take you seriously. They would bully you at will and take advantage of the fact that you are too simple to protest.

I would say attitude, because attitude is like a complete overview of a person. I mean attitude is form as a result of life's experience. So a person with an attitude that marches your desires is the one. Simplicity for me is good only if it is a persons attitude otherwise it's like a burden. Because you are not yourself.

I think either can be most preferable depending on your situation. Simplicity is a good goal and too many people in the modern world don't practice it. I think we can all reduce our level of consumption for the most part. However, attitude can also get you far, as a community organizer I can tell you this. I don't think that any social justice struggle, of the last fifty years, at least, would have been accomplished without people having the attitude that someday it would occur, or at least pretending they did when TV cameras and eyes were upon them.

Attitude is everything, your attitude in how you choose to greet each day, your attitude in how you choose to treat people that mistreat you. I don't know if I agree with "simplicity makes a man" When someone is constantly being harassed, or if your wife was getting raped, you won't treat the matter like it doesn't happen, you are going to get up and fight back and try to protect the one that you love. In answer to your question, I prefer someone who really knows when it is important to fight. I want my mate to have a great attitude, but I also want him to know that it is important to protect his family. It's like that Kenny Rogers song, when the guy is constantly turning his cheek, but then they mistreat his girl "Becky" and he stands up and he fights for her..."sometimes you have to fight when you're a man" it's that Gatlin Brothers song, and it really speaks the truth.

I think that having the right attitude is really something that is key for life. Simplicity can be great and all a lot of the time. However, I really honestly have very little, to no use for simplicity in a lot of life. Life is anything but simple a lot of times. Sometimes it is, but a lot of times it is just something that is very strange and abstract to say the very least. You need the proper mindset to survive life and that mindset is anything but simple. There is a time to be simple and a time to have a great attitude in life. Personally I have found that for the most part in life, attitude is in fact everything. We have to have the proper attitude to get through life. Otherwise, we are going to have a long and winding road of life. Its always good to have the right attitude. That is just the way the ball bounces in life. Simplicity might be necessary sometimes, but attitude is mostly everything.

Attitude is definitely everything. For me, I could care less if they like to be simple, or very complicated. As long as they're not stubborn, they love to have fun without complaining(complaining is for after the fun), and they shouldn't have that, "I'm better than everyone" attitude.

I think I would prefer someone with a good attitude. I wouldn't mind if the person was simple or ostentatious. I don't like people who are pompous for no reasons though. It becomes really annoying. But if they have it and deserve it, I wouldn't mind them flaunting it once in a while. But I want the people around me that is., my spouse, relative, friends, etc to be who they are with me and not put on any image that they do while with others.
