Helium writers how much do you get per day

I love passive income and its one of my favourite things about writing sites. You can submit articles and months later you are still earning revenue from them, whether you write or not. Helium is really good for this, with every new article I submit I notice an increase in my revenue. Now I am getting about 23 cents daily!! This may not sound like much but as I am writing it adds up

This month my daily earnings have dropped down to around 60 cents a day. Last month they were averaging a dollar a day and in January I was getting more than $1 on some days. I think this is because some seasonal articles have now dropped their page views.
I keep adding new articles so I'm certainn to get back to at least a dollar a day. I submit about 5 new articles each week, so I double my daily income with upfront payments and empty titles.
When I sell an article in the Marketplace it gives a good boost to my monthly income, but some months I don't sell any, and in other months I may sell 3 or 4.

I know this might sound sort of silly, but do you think there is a trick to selling Marketplace articles? Or just good writing and a bit of luck? (I have yet to conquer this mountain.) I am not underestimating your writing skills...just wondering if you write these differently than your normal Helium articles?

I don't know that there is a trick, but most important is to stick tightly to guidelines, and not to write personal accounts unless asked for. Usually they require an informative and authoratative tone, rather than an opinionated one.

Keep in mind you only earn from Helium as long as you keep a rating star. If you no longer rate then you don't accumulate money. I gather I make 5 or 6 cents a day there. I don't write there often, I find it is better to write for associated content or other sites where I don't have to go rate articles daily to make money.

Thanks for your response. I acually dont mind the rating process as it helps me improve my writing, get my articles rated quicker and give me ideas for new articles. Unfortunately I havent done that well with associated content, Iwish I had cos it has such a low payout.

I'm earning around 13 cents a day with my 36 articles on Helium.

In about one and a quarter year in Helium, I made about $500 through Rewaredathon payments, Upfront payments, contest wins, page view earnings etc. My current stock of articles at Helium is about 290 and my average per-day page-view earnings hover around 0.5 to 0.75 dollars.
Frankly, the income from Helium through page-views is horribly low; but the upfront payment helps.
Now there is a sword dangling above the neck at HElium; Helium is preventing some of the non-US writers (I am from India) from continuing membership in Helium. Perhaps I may also face the problem sooner at Helium. I will come to know about it soon.
I write in a couple of more sites where page view earnings are comparatively much better than Helium (i.e. passive earnings).
If you take Helium, AC, Suite101, ehow or Howtodothings, there are always a bunch of people who earn very well in such sites and they swear by that site. What is good for one may not be good for another.
It looks to me that we should find what suits us better and concentrate more on one site, at the same time, write in a couple of more sites to even out any uncertainties.

Last month on Helium I earned about $14 in page views, and this month, I have &7+ so far already. I am trying to get to 300 articles, as that is a better cut-off point for earning money on new articles. At present, I have about 180+ articles, and I keep working on it, but I got distracted with things at home, so I haven't written as much this month so far.
The best thing I discovered is that I can re-post my Helium articles to Associated Content for page views, so I love this new double dipping. A lot of my articles don't make much on Helum (I love to write about art history), but they seem to do better over on AC.
I just wish that I liked to write about what people like to read. If I could conquer that mountain, I'd really do well writing.
Good luck with your writing. Do you do Associated Content too?

Can you share a little more about Associated Content for those of us who haven't discovered it yet?

I've just joined Helium so haven't earned anything yet, but was glad to see this discussion. I haven't really figured out how to make Helium (or any of the pay-per sites for writers) really start earning any kind of revenue yet. It seems like Helium is one site that takes a pretty large time investment (time that right now I'm investing in my "regular profession"--I'm an animal communicator by trade) to see any kind of pay off.
At 23 cents daily you're doing very well, congratulations!

I stop visiting helium.com because I did not earn much there, I published almost 15 articles already and now a premier member but my earnings still down the drain, I think I am just wasting my time there so I put my attention to other sites which have a good turn out and which has a minimum payout.

I only get about 10 to 15 cents a day, but that's because I've only written 70 articles so far. I'm hoping that by the time I reach a thousand articles, I'd earn 2 dollars a day just from passive income. :)
It's a big leap but I like to stay optimistic.
