BACK Not for MONEY this time

I got to say that the reason I signed up here is the MONEY. I thought if I try my best to be active here, I would get a very nice payment, though not too much, it's easy money. So, why not? Like the NIKE ad says JUST DO IT.
Then I started many discussions of different topics, some about my intersts, most not, respond to a lot of discussions as well.
But, when I found it's not as easy as I thought to get my first payment here because every discussion or response you post can get very very little even none if no one respond to your discussion, I felt a little disappointed. What's worse, when I calculated the minimum time before I get my first payment, I just made a simple decision, give up.
Today when I checking my e-mail box I found there were a lot of e-mails form mylot.com, and what amusing me was one of them told me that a discussion I started 3 months ago got a new reponse recently. OMG! I am not here for almost 3 months!!!
Then I signed in again long after. I am here again, and will be here in the future, this time I will not care about the money. Then, for what? INTERSTS.

Welcome to be back, i have the similar view points with you, it seems not so easy to earn a lot of money for me here, i just go to this cummunity for fun, for interests, although i have not leave it for a long time. Happy myloting.

I did just about the same thing. Even when people took part in my discussions, the MYLOTTER administration would cut my pay if somebody said something bad in their response. I hope they have quit that, now. I don't pay much attention, because I just write for the fun of it and don't do it for the money. I have only earned the minimum $10 once. I am almost up to it again, but I have been writing on this site for years!

Welcome Back... I do hope you will continue to want to be a member here, as you can meet so many wonderful people here and learn a lot of interesting things in here as well. I know many when they first come in here come in here for the $$, but find out it does take a lot to reach payment in here for sure. I do easily reach payment in here each month, but nothing like what I make from working for others for sure.
What I enjoy about being here is meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world, and also having the chance to make New friends, and earn a little extra $$ along the way as well. Wishing you the Best.

I agree, it can be very demoralising to raise a decent new topic only to see it get no replies. I'd like to know how MyLot decide what are the top topics. I've tried making posts on everything from TV to bunny rabbits - all to no avail. I'd say get as many friends as you can. Reply to their posts and hopefully they will do the same for you. Also select best responses - if you get any!

me too. I joined my lot for money, i guess most of us wants to earn but i found out after several days that the earnings are somewhat disappointing, then i decided to stop myloting but after a week i've decided to go back because i miss responding to any discussion. This is a good avenue of releasing your own opinions and sometimes it really helps me to interact with other members through discussion.

I'm agree with you.My English is poor so I participate this forum to improve myself.Although I have passed the college English CET6,but I still feel that my written English is too poor.Money is not important, the precious experience you can gain in this forum is the most valuable asset.Don't give up and continue.

Just like you, I signed up for the money... but then gave up. But now just recently, I came back. Not for the money, but to talk on the forum.

I felt the same thing when I am still a newbie then. It's hard to start a discussion (at least for me) then you got no response at all, kinda frustrating (really). It was not 4 months later when I became so serious about just writing anything in my mind because I have many time to burn then. Money was in my mind but when I get to know and get used about the site and have some friends then the interest shifts to just enjoying what I am doing. The next thing I know is that I am able to reach minimum payout each month and what's even better is that, I make it 4 straight in a row until the time the monitor of my laptop broke and I was a few cents short for a 5peat. I just came back online just recently (actually just 2 days ago) here in myLot and in my first day, I was able to earn 0.33 cents and I believe that it is fair enough to me knowing the number of participation that I only have. My goal right now is to at least reach minimum payout at the end of the month while enjoying my come back here.

I also joined for the money at first. I agree with the person that posted above, I think that everyone joined mylot for the money at first.
Then they saw how hard it is to make money on mylot and you need to be very very very dedicated to do so.
They fell in love with mylot since it is a wonderful website with great discussions and then stayed a member because they enjoy mylot, and the money is just a bonus. :)

That was the first thought I had in mind when I joined mylot (make money) but it's not easy especially if i can't stay online most of the time because I'm taking care of my kid. But then I kinda liked it here because I get a lot of ideas in the discussions. Kills the boredom while making a little money so to say.

I believe many people have joined this site just for money, but the problem with that is you will not be able to take part in QUALITY discussions. I joined mainly because people on here are attempting to have good discussions, not only for money but for the sake of getting a response to there question. It is good that you have changed your view on the site, and what makes it even better is that you will earn some money to top it off!
