do you always carry cash or use bank cards

I carry a bit of cash and a debit card at all times. I prefer using cash when I go to the store because it's easier for me to see how much money I'm really spending. However, I like being able to use cash when I'm buying something that comes to a very small amount. I hate pulling out a debit card for a $3 purchase. It's kind of annoying.

i always carry bank debit cards with me but keep some amount of cash also for emergency ofcourse.

I don't often carry a lot of money in my wallet. However, I still prefer to have a bit of money in my wallet, just in case I need to use it, and I can't use my bank card for whatever reason.

I right there with you. I hardly every carry cash anymore, maybe like a dollar or two. But most of the time all I have is the spare change in my little car compartment. I just don't even like dealing with cash. I used to be really bad at keeping track of my spending when I just used my cash card, but I have gotten alot better as money has gotten tighter. I find it just as easy to spend with cash cards as I did with cash, though, now that almost everywhere accepts the cards.

I am the exact same here, I find cash to easy to spend. I think (but am not sure) the survey depends on age group. The younger generations (including myself) are growing up in a digital world and realistically we have absolutely no reason to carry cash on hand aside from personal transactions. which an easy solution can be invented. I recieved money thought e-mail, or paypal, which would suffice.. I am not agenst carrying cash, but think its safer in the bank and lets face it, there are thieves.

Hi, poppoppop! I usually will carry cash in my wallet. But, I have used my debit card just only to withdraw money out of the ATM Machine.

Bank cards are too bad for me as I feel I will spend indiscriminately since I will not see the cash that leaves me as I do shopping. Since all I do is swipe the plastic in my hand and it can be pretty lethal and fatal to my bank balance. Infact when I have cash in my hand I tend to be less thrifty. And anyways all financial greats have always advised to avoid plastic crds that is credit card, debit card...so I generally always carry cash with me.

I never carry cash. I find it much easier to use my debit card. Sometimes it is inconvenient when you need a small amount of cash, but generally, you never need cash these days.
