Yesterday I received my home telephone bill.I have the basic service,no add on's not even long distance.Well I was surprised when I saw a service on it which I had not subscribed to.It was for voice mail.I called the number that was listed and this company that I have never heard of went on line and got my email address and phone number and signed me up for voice mail. How they was able to do it I don't know. They was a security question and they gave the wrong answer yet they still signed me up.The name of the company is FoneRight,Inc.(ILD TELESERVICES,INC.The amount of their services was $14.95+tax.I have the basic phone service because I can not afford all the other things.I wanted to alert people to this company and how they are scamming people. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone here.Luckily I always check my bill and I was able to cancel the voice mail.Blessings to all. Thanks in advance to all responses.

Thanks for knowing me this scam. But i think , no company has not any power to add any facility and charged with your phone bill without your permission. At first , dont pay the bill, if you pay the bill, it means you accept your bill details. And i think your telephone company will not take any steps after paying the bill.Immediately, make a complain to your telephone operator about you bill. And then you should make a complain to the consumer forum. The consumer can take a steps against the company.

Hi,skyblue,Thank you for your response. This company did not have my permission. I have never heard of them. They should not have the power to do this but they did it.I got in touch with the people who billed it to my phone number.I will not pay the bill..I will probably file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This service has already been taken off of my bill.Have a good night. Thanks again.

skyblue this has happened to me before too just not with the same company. I don't know how they did it bt they did and I caught the charges and got it stopped. I also told these people to take my information out of their system so that it would not happen again. Also I hoped not to hear from them with further scams since they did get my information some how.

mc, this is no one that has hit me. I've had others that I can't remember right now. But this one is new to me. I'm glad that you were able to resolve this.
Sometimes one of your local tv stations will look int things like this and will warn people to.
Here it is Eye On You channel 5. Good luck in the future and yes by all means check your bills.
Thank you for the heads up on this company. Many blessings to you.

It's good to see you too. You finally started your own discussion. It wasn't so hard now was it...giggle.
I'm waiting on my pain pill to take effect so I can lay back down. You must be going to be late again tonight. I have 2 of the grandchildren to get up for school so I'll lay down shortly.

Hi moondancer,Thanks for the response.I always check my bills to see if there is anything on there that I did not approve.I don't understand how they could do it when they answered the security question wrong.Good to see you on here.Bless you.
