Have you ever considered the bones of the fish? For example, if the fish has many bones, will you buy it? Probably people like the fish have less bones. In fact I found that the fish has more bones may taste better, especially for the fish soup. But it's difficult to eat it since it has many bones.

Hi youless! I do love fish! In fact I just had prepared and cooked some fish fillet for our dinner today. My husband enjoyed it very much. However, I have never really been aware which is tastier, fish with lots of bones or those with less. haha..I guess, i just love them all!
Take care and blessings to you!

I like fish with less bones.I also like fish which has no bones. Those fishes are very good for the body. But i heard prawns is a fish that gives lot of heat to the body so i eat it once in a while.I mostly like to eat fried fish in onion and lime.I hate eating fish curry.

My mom has this recipe that she cooks a fish that after a long procedure we can also eat the bones. Its like the fish inside the sardines that it is still whole but the bones are chewy already. But i dont know how to make that. And there is an ingredient that my mom put that it is not available here at japan. I think it is only in the philippines

I always buy fish that is virutally boneless! I can't bear bones in fish, I know obviously they have them, lol! But I go for the fillets or the pieces with the less amount of bones, you get the occasional small fine bone ok, but not the bone that goes right through the middle. My ex used to buy trout a lot and it was frustrating the amount of bones in it, I would spend ages picking them out, which used to put me off eating or spoil the meal.

Hello youless. I love to eat fish, but I am not in favor of bony fish. I love carps very much for its being tasty. I have a bias for fish eggs. I don't know why I like them so much. By the way, I also love to eat fish soup. Enjoy your life, youless.

usually we would prefer to have boneless fish and yes it is true that if there are more bones the fish is more tastier. i use to eat mostly the boneless fish and sometimes the fish with bones. but from the time i have eaten the sardinen fish i really like it and i do eat it and it really consists of mass bones. and i am scared to make my son eat fish with more of bones as my child is younger and i am scared for him and we are usually not regular eaters of fish so even myself get scared to eat fish with bones.

Absolutely not...Firstly,I hate the smell of fish..I rarely eat fish becoz of its smell.Secondly,I don't like fish have many bones coz I always swallow the bone to in my throat. It's horrible and this usually takes me 1-2 days to get it out.I'm kinda afraid of fish..

I like eating fish and i'd cook fish soup, adding some radishes or yams,of course, it should be crucian carp okay for the taste.
do you like it?
But crucian carp has many bones, and i had been stuck by its bone several times,so i am afraid of it now.
In view of this,I like perches more, which has few bones and delicious.

There are some fish that has many bones that I like to eat. Cos the bones are big and easy to remove when eating it.
But there are some fish that has may tiny bones that are impossible to remove when eating. Much like chewing a lot of sand sendiments in your mouth. Those fish, I avoid like the plague!

youless,
I love fish, but I don't eat it as much as I should because of the bones. I love Salmon, but it's one of the fish that I eat even less because of the carteledge that is left in the canned salmon. If I really want a piece of fish, I usually just get a fish square or stick.

Fish is rich in phosphrous, which is good for brain. Eating fish is good for health. But the bones are always a hindrance. By practice, however, we can be more skillful in ticking out the little bones, and likewise, having tongue exercises, maybe helpful for other activities, say speech. Just a guess, though.
Back to your point, yes, i agree that fish with many bones tend to make more delicious soup.
