What goes through their mind?

Have you ever wondered what happens to be going through peoples minds when they decide to kill others? What was that man thinking when he opened fire on a minister of the churing in Illinois? How about the gunman in Alabama who killed 9 people before commiting suicide? In Rochester, Ny a man killed 2 people outside of a local hospital, then drove 30 miles and murdered a couple in their home in front of their 2 children. What could he have been thinking when he did this? Do you remember the DC snipers? They killed innocent people for no reason. It seems as if there is no respect for human life these days. I just wish someone could shed some light on why people kill. Is there a common gene in their DNA. Maybe there is a way to find this out early in their lives. We could possibly prevent murders if we could find out what makes people kill. What are your thoughts on this?

I think the personality is key point. Generally speaking, the person who tend to behave violence or rudeness or impulsion when meet with something unhappy or unexpected or not easy to be accepted. This type of person easy to be irritated always in a anxiety state. For sure, there were kinds of ingredients to create such terrible personality such as setback, unhappiness, misfortune, unfair,or dissatisfied to the society etc.Besides, the people around them and the enviroment of them living can real affected their behaviours. sorry,i'm not sure if i can express my point clear,my english is not good and i'm trying to improve it.

I understand what your trying to say. I have to agree that personality is the key to this trait. Most if not all people who have either killed or are thinking of killing have a violent peronality. What gives them this personality needs to be found out. Were they brought up in a bad enviroment? Were they abused as children? These are all things that might help prevent future murderers from killing. If we know what causes this, then we are one step closer to curing it.

I agree. I have been very angry and the thought of killing someone never crossed my mind. I have thought of kicking some a$$. But, not killing them.
