I have always had something of a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh and his stories. Indeed, I see something Pooh-like about myself. Round, always hungry and loves a cuddle. Which Pooh character would you be and why?

Hmmmm. Well I'd have to say that I would probably consider myself to be more Winnie the Pooh'ish also! Pretty laid back, loves to eat, definite potential to be round..... lol. But then again, I can also be a bundle of energy like Tigger too! Hmmmm, maybe I can be a whole new character altogether? How does "Tigger the Sh!t" sound? I just thank goodness I'm not like Eeyore. That dude's borderline manic! I think Winnie needs to slip some amphetamines into his trough or something??? - How are ya Eeyore? "Sigh..... Iiiiiii'm finnnnnne" What a sad b@st@rd he is.

You cannot be Tigger. I am Tigger. And I am beginning to think this whole Panda spanking thing is just a cover for some depraved act you want performed on yourself. Where do you hide the Panda suit and how much do you pay for a dominatrix to come spank you while you are wearing it? I only ask because if you insist on intruding on my characters, I can save you some money by doing it for free.

You're crappping on about Tigger, yet I'm still trying to work out this Novataylor/cynicalandoutspoken adoption angle..... Was the animal shelter low on stock or somethin'?

Christopher Robin without a doubt. To be a young child with all the world as a playground just as rich as that of your imagination. Isn't that what we all sought as little people? Hiding in the hedgerow was my first encounter with Alice In Wonderland. Eating gooseberries from the bush was the deadly apple lodged in Snow White's throat. Although I yearned to be Peter Pan, because I was the oldest I was always dubbed Wendy. A lost shoe found at the end of the garden? Surely it must belong to that of Cinderella! And if that peach has a worm in it, let go of it, because it might roll down the hill like James and the Giant Peach. Imagine being able to imagine whatever you want to imagine. The possibilities are endless......

I am more and more convinced that we grew up not 30 miles apart but in the same place! I'm not sure that I was ever Wendy (!!) although I do remember some very interesting escapades in a neighbour's Wendy House, but not for public consumption. I did all that stuff. My friends and I had a cave that we found in the side of an old chalk pit that we turned into our gang's hideaway. We were knights or old, Cavaliers and Roundheads and cowboys there. Happy days. I am slowly sliding back that way now. LOL. Only with more coffee breaks!

I thought Winnie ate honey not fish? LOL My life is already too much of a cartoon P1ke. The thought of imagining myself as another character is just too complicated. ROFL

I never really got into Pooh but my kids loved him when they were little. I think there's a little bit of all the characters in everyone, which is probably why so many people love the stories. I used to by Eeyore but now I'm more like Tigger.

Eeyore is my favorite because as down as he seems, he enjoys the simple things and has a heart of gold. As for which I would be? I'm not sure. Kanga I think because she has a similar role and out look as I do. I can't wait to read what other's added. Great discussion.

Eeyore was always so miserable - but he did have a heart of gold, that's very true. Nw Kanga, full of spirit and life. I can see you as her absolutely.

I suppose I would be Tigger as he is such an intelligent, lovable character with great ideas and he is so smart that he can even spell his own name! A good Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too story would never go amiss you know!! ;)

I have always seen myself as Eeyore, Why? Well, I sometimes feel like he does and sees things as he does. he feels out of place and feels like he has no friends at times. I guess I also have and want to be shown I am needed or loved to feel like I am not so out of place.

Well let's be quite clear about one thing. You have friends! Here at least. You are loved and definitely wanted. You can be Eeyore if you want, but you must remember that one of the reasons why he is so popular is precisely because he is popular and adored. XXXX

I am more like Eyore. He tries to be happy and thrilled but his inner spirit shows as down or depressed. He does not have a lot of self confidence. He always wonders why he should bother. He does like his friends as they bring him joy and encouragement. I think he spends too much time alone.

He does seem to spend much of his time alone. That allows him to think of course. We need friends to remind us that we are loved and wanted some times.

OH oh oh I would be piglet! Can I can I ? Nope its okay don't want to be piglet - want to be my favourite Eeyore! A bit slow but oh so sweet! Anyone you tell that this persons nickname is Tigger they get it right away! lol xxx

Lots of people fancy themselves Eeyore Gemini. He's much more popular than I thought. I'd love to include Winnie the Pooh on my Youtube book readings, but they are just too long. Very sad, as they are some of my favourite books.

I am more like Eeyore but I want to be more like Tigger. Eeyore is a wee bit too gloomy and low key and I like how Tigger just lets loose.

I would have to say Eeyoree. He is always sad but he is a true friend through and through. I always root for the underdog and to me Eeyoree seems like the underdog. I collect alot of Eeyoree items and had a favorite stuffed animal Eeyoree growing up. I still have him to this day along with my Snoopys.

I would definitely be Christopher Robin. When my son was little, I used to read him the poems from 'When We Were Very Young' and 'Now We Are Six' (I don't think those name are quite correct, but there you go) - and he loved them. I would have liked to have been that little boy, exploring things in his world. (Can I play Poohsticks with you next time we're standing on the bridge together?)
@p1kef1sh (45681)

Sydney Harbour Bridge suit? LOL. I am quite minded to go across to Sussex and see for myself AA Milne's house and the place where they played Pooh Sticks for real this year. It's not too far and I've never been.

A marvellous excursion indeed! Make sure you take some photographs when you go there. Sydney Harbour Bridge would be excellent for playing poohsticks, I'm sure. My daughter abseiled from it a few years ago ... she wasn't impressed with the taste of the harbour water - but the view is beautiful.
