does the rain makes you gloomy and sad?

Nah, I'm actually happy when it rains. I'm not a summer person, I hate the heat so when it rains and it feels a little colder. I was in a happy mood and it don't usually rains so I feel glad every time I see it. I remember my younger days when me and my cousins used to play in the rain and made paper boats and that kind of stuff; it was so much and it's really nice and cozy to sleep whenever it rains. So, yeah, I really like it especially when there's a rainbow after.

I don't like rain although it's a good weather for people who enjoy sleeping very mcuh.When it rains,I always feel great pressure and makes me gloomy sometimes for no reason.But some little rain in spring morning is much better.It can make the air quite clear and fresh.No matter rain or sunny,have a nice day is the most important thing.I think we shouldn't let weather control our feelings.Enjoy every minute in life.

Well I rather not look at it that way. For me rain is a kind of blessing, that pours over after a hot and sunny day. If the rains persist longer then maybe its a time to really reflect and stop for a while and think things over. I say that rain is not at all sad and gloomy it is just a way for us to stop our daily routine and relax.

I feel the same way about the rain. I really hate it when it is rainy outside. It even bothers me sometimes when it just looks cloudy and ugly outside, even if it isn't actually raining at the moment. There is just something really depressing about it. I think my husband likes rainy days because he likes to stay in and take a nap, but it makes me feel too depressed! Whenever I wake up in the morning and see that it's a rainy day, I wish I could just stay in bed until it's nice again!

No, not at all.. in fact, rainy weather makes me feel relaxed as i can get to have a better sleep.. when it's raining, it's nice to stay at home, watch a good movie with your loved ones, order some pizza, eat a sumptuous filipino dish(dried fish, scrambled egg, rice and tomatoes, yum yum!!!!) sip a cup of hot coffee or cocoa and have fun! =)

I also hate when it is rainy out because it make sme tired lazy and sleepy. I dont feel like doing nothing but staying in cuddling up with my husban and go to sleep.

not really.. i like the not so sunny atmosphere of the rainy days... i like the atmosphere, it being a bit cold and not so hot. it is good to sleep as you have said.

most often, rain doesn't make me feel sad and gloomy. although sometimes it did. rain makes me like cry especially when i am very down. when the rain pours, it is as if my tears fall down. but rain is a great thing. there were so many incidents that the rain has been very helpful and significant to me.

Hi. pinks17. Yes, I do feel sad and gloomy, especially when the sky looks dark and the clouds look really gray and dull. I feel sad. The rain makes me feel lazy too. The sky makes the big difference. If the sun is out while it is raining, I will much happier then.

I used to love the rain during those younger days of mine when there is no flood that occurs no matter how hard the rain was. But now no more. I feel quite bothered whenever it rains especially if it hard because I know that once it becomes longer the flood will soon come and those living near the river will suffer a lot.

SAD!why? cause i feel that the rain drops are tears of my fiance, crying out for something or someone for leaving them behind and that includes me . there is one time where after a week she passed away and this was exactly Christmas Day, when i shouted my uncle (good thing, we didn't end up fighting) cause he pissed me off, i am grieving but he is just annoying. i went outside the house immediately and just walk, walk, walk with no particular place i want to go to. then i felt tired of walking, and found my self standing/sitting alone then the rain suddenly fell down from the sky. i was surprised with that rain cause all throughout that day, it didn't rain.

When I know I'll be staying indoors for the day, then the downpour would be just fine. But on work days, the pathways become so muddy so that commuting is such a hassle.

You know you should not hate when it rains just because you remember something happen to you.Well for me, I love when it rains because as what you have said it gives a great time to eat and to sleep.And almost people do the same when it rains.Others stays in their own house to watch t.v with their family.And it is a perfect day to have a bonding W/ your family.

The rain doesn't make me gloomy and sad. Rather hopeful, since when it is raining and gloomy, I feel I am not missing anything. If I am free and it is raining and gloomy, I can easily get at tasks that I have left on days to go enjoy the better weather. I greet rainy and gloomy days with anticipation. I find I can relax a lot better when it is raining out. My mid slows to a manageable speed and I can get a lot more done.

Hey.Ok.But i love rains and sit near window and enjoy the rain.In childhood we were playing in the rain with our friends.We were playing with our friends in the rain,and dropping paper boats in the water when the rain stops.Those days are very good and memorable.Now i can't do that but enjoy it with coffee or eating anything hot.
