It depends on what kind of juice you drink - it depends on how much sugar the juice is and how natural it is. If it's 100% juice, it usually won't have any added sugar (which is a good thing), and therefore it's better for you than a lot of concentrate juices that have 5-10% (or less) fruit juice content. I think juice is good in moderation (and usually most juices have some vitamins that are good for you), but depending on what kind of juice you get - if you drink a lot of it, it can't be good for your health (the sugar, empty calories, etc). Water has a lot of nutrients and minerals that you need on a day-to-day basis, and has 0 calories. Here's a tip: Mix 1/2 a glass of juice with 1/2 a glass of water, and slowly, overtime, wean yourself off of juice by adding more water and less juice (diluting the juice so it's mostly water). It's hard getting used to drinking your daily recommended amount of water. I usually drink water-based drinks (such as teas, Crystal Light, and so on) to make up for my horrible water habits. .

I would have to agree with the Dr. on this one. Juice has a lot of sugar in it, so you probably wouldn't be getting the full benefits of the water. I know a lot of vegetables (lettuce) especially have a large water content, so if you are opposed to drinking plain water, you might want to eat a larger variety of vegetables with a higher water content. What is internal heat? I have never heard of that before.

HelloCandy! The human body is nearly 50%-75% water depending on a persons age.The body needs enough water for its normal function. If we don't drink enough water we just risk dehydration, elevated body temperature, fatigue, mental and physical tiredness and other heat related ailments. So to keep the body and mind fit we must drink adequate water, may be three liters, daily.Your physician has rightly suggested you to drink plain water.thanx.

Yes most definitely. Plain water is the best. But if it's filtered and purified it's even better. My husband and I both drink filtered purified plain water a lot whether it be at home or when we're out. We always carry a tupperware brand water bottle 2L with us when we go out for errands or to places. We also use this tumbler at home. It is good to drink just plain water.

Hey there! Are you okay? Teethache? That's awful and very painfull man specially if that's a teethache. That's too many tooth with cavities. Or maybe you mean toothached? Anyways, I agree that drinking plain water is best that any other drink. Plain water has no added flavours or sugar thus it is pure and perfect to cleanse our system. Unlike drinking juice it contains sugar and additives. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!
