Old Age People - How to keep our self fit in old age?

you are only as young as you feel. But,we can not beat the nature. Certainly,we can reduce the old age problems by our change in our lifestyle. I do some walking,some exercises to keep my self fit. I have started taking a balanced food. I don't sacrifice my sleep for anything. How do you plan to reduce your old age problems?Please share your views.

Whether we fear of old age or not,the changes in our body due to aging is going to happen. At the most we can only delay it by our food and life style. The changes are,gray hair,wrinkles in face,knee pain, poor eye sight,less hearing power,poor memory etc..etc.. Happy mylotting

I don't even think of my age, I feel and think the way I was some 20 years ago. Not until someone asked me about my age (which I am not please) and you putting up this post. You are reminding me that my age is going uphill and my stamina is fast going downhill, if am not careful with my health. Maybe I am blessed with good health as I always believe in eating well that nourish the body and in prayers that nourish my soul. It is always good to grow old gracefully by taking care of oneself and this will avoid old age problems like disease and senility that are fond of licking on ageing bodies.

I always like to behave like young.I agree with your life style.Beyond this in the old age we can read,write and travel.Old people can express their experiences through their writings.Computer is a good media to kill time.Through internet we can travel the whole world.It's true we can't beat the nature.But we can compromise with the nature.Nature never get old.Keep fit and be fresh in the old age.Thanks.

Hi Muru . you are right you cant beat nature but its worth looking after yourself . It try and keep my weight down mostly by eating a bit less of what ever fancy that i used to .. i do eat a lot of fruit instead of cakes and sweets .. plenty of walking . Make the best use of every day and keep positive *

Hi muru, I rarely think about getting old as I am healthy and keep busy all the time. I also walk and try to eat a balanced diet and I sleep well. A positive attitude always helps and keep smiling. Blessings.
