I LOVE photography and in 2008 I took a picture of something everyday of the year that would make me remember that day. I took pictures of nature, people, food, all sorts of things. What are your favorite types of photographs? Also, what do you like to photograph?

Nothing is safe from my lenses...but I have a special love of macro and bird photography.

My favourite photo subjects: well anything unusual, just plain amusing or breathtaking scenery.
I have taken up wedding photography recently. The special moments in those pics can be very rewarding. Looking at a couple seeing there wedding shots for the first time.
For the most part I'm lucky that I have great views of sunrises and even get the 'rainbows end' pics here. Snowy weather is good aswell - for photos at least.
Have you got favourites?

Hi, kristeng.
I love taking pictures too... I might be behind times for still using a filmed camera hahaha but I still take pics. I take all kinds of things but my favorite subjects are animals, sceneries and people... I don't do that all time now since I'm so busy at work but I do at my spare time...
by the way, welcome to myLot... I hope you'll enjoy it too like I did since February...
Happy mylotting... ^_^

I like taking pictures of my kids against historic backgrounds. When we were in Europe we took a lot of photographs with backgrounds of castles, market places, old windmills, etc. I use a combination of digital and film cameras, depending on what I'm photographing. I use the digital for candid snapshots, but I love taking shots that I set up using my old film camera.
