In January 2009 I took my toddler son to South Africa and it was a 12 hour flight with no jet lag because of the easy to adjust the slight time zone difference. The weather was sunny and warm. We had an excellent time. We explored Cape Town and the Garden Route. It was so lovely to see the penguins at Boulder's Beach, visit the colorful botanical gardens, go to Scratch Patch to make up a bag of semi precious gem stones and see stunning Camp Cove. We went on a two and a half hour safari and we saw lions, giraffes, rhinos and hippos. I love to go to South Africa again the future and perhaps spend longer on that trip going up as far as the Victoria Falls in Zambia.

I love to see penguins. So far in my life I have seen the fairy penguin in Australia and well as in New Zealand. Also whilst there I saw the yellow eyed penguins. The ones in South Africa are the jackass penguins. I hope that you will go to wonderful South Africa one day.

I visited the supermarket. It was an uneventful experience. It was a little bit busier than usual, but I didn't have to wait long. I would have to say I probably would go back again, whether I want to or not.

The last place I went was Los Angeles for 3 days for business. It seemed the same to me that it always did even though I had not been back in 15 years. I was born and raised there but moved to The Netherlands 15 years ago. ;)

The last place I visited was Boracay -- a white sand beach located in the Philippines. I love the place because of the pristine water but most of all because of the food. The stretch of the beach has lots of international cuisine restaurant to choose from - hawaiian bbq, mexican, italian and even greek.

Yes it is a great place. Especially if you love to party. Boracay is much enjoyed if you are with friends. The boat station 2 in Boracay is the best location. The great restaurants are there and great accommodations. But if you want to go for some romance, it's definitely Panglao Island Nature resort in Bohol for me.

The last place that I traveled to was Washington DC. I had a great time doing free activities and walking everywhere. It was a great experience and I would love to go back there again! I went with three of my friends so sometimes we would get on each others nerves, but the trip was still amazing.

The last place that I visited was a Danish island called Samsoe. I spent about a week there, and I managed to visit most parts of the island. The biggest town is called Tranebjerg, and it is a nice place, but my favourite place is a village called Nordby. There are lots of beautiful old houses and they are situated around a small lake, it all looks really nice. I went for a walk in the very north of island and that was another beautiful area. In the southertn part of the island there is a place called Koldby Kaas, I visited the one of the local galleries there, and that was very interesting. I enjoyed my visit to Samsoe very much, and I would like to go back there again.

The last place i visited was GOA, a place of beautiful Sun,Sea and Sand. My hubby took me far South where we went to this isolated beach, with rocky mountains and a nearby Fort.
Most tourists go there by bike and they took pictures of the great view. But when it comes to Beach, i like Palolem Beach. I haven't explored other beaches there yet but i would be happy to visit them once again since my in laws are from Goa and my hubby's childhood years was spent in Goa.
I do enjoy that great place. For me it is a combination of Laguna, Batangas and Boracay. The beach are white sand, clear blue waters and great Goan food with lots of drinks to offer. I will never get tired of visiting Goa. Happy Mylotting!

We returned from a visit to Hong Kong & Macau about a month ago. It's simply a very enjoyable and satisfying experience - Hong Kong's clean, friendly and there are so many places of interest. Macau has its famous casinos and places that are really unique. I would like to visit these places again.

The most recent trip I took of any distance was to Monroe, Louisiana where my brother, sister-in-law and their five children live, and, yes, I would go back there again. All I've ever done there is visit family, so I don't know what amusements it has to offer. It is a pretty town and the people I've met are friendly.

So far this year I've been to Edinburgh, Athens and Dublin. All of them were absolutely amazing, my favourite still being Dublin, which I visited for the first time last year :). Later in the year I'm going to Edinburgh again, as well as Florence, Italy. I can't wait!

I haven't been on a proper vacation in quite a while--about two years now. It feels like forever! A vacation has to be about ten days long to be worthwhile. I did had a long weekend at St Pete Beach, Florida not too long ago. It was a lot of fun. My boyfriend and I went with my sister and her husband. We ate at the top of an old fashioned revolving restaurant, ate seafood (I ate shrimp and everyone else ate nasty, slimy oysters!), walked on the beach at night, swung in hammocks, went in the ocean a little, and drank too much. We stayed at the Tradewinds resort which is a nice place. We will be back. It is a fun time and only a couple hours from where we live.

The last place I visited was Puri, a sea beach in Orissa(India). As this place is not far away from my native place, I have been to Puri 5 times. Going to Puri in the winter vacation is great fun...beacuse of the beach fares, new year celebrations, long baths in the sea, visiting the temples. Though I have been to the place so many times, but I will not feel bore at all visiting it over and over again!
