many times it happens to me that while i m driving there is always someone honking from the back............. there is a hell lot of traffic n there isnt a inch of space on the road to move..........they just cant stop blowing the horns...........i get really irritated with this .it is like they have pasted their hands to the horns in their vehicles............. sometimes even if the road is empty the wont stop honking...............i feel this the main reason for the noise pollution n more than that it is damn irritating.. have you ever experienced this????????????????

Oh yes, I want to cover my ears... who won't get irritated with these retarded people, who're not thinking of what they're been doing.

i do hate it though, normally i say that they need to go to the bathroom, they need to ring the bell to pee...they think it will go faster that way so they horn away... lol

Hello friend. I do get annoyed / irritated by that excessive honking that seems to never stop at least in my city (capital city of Romania, Bucharest). As you said, they have no were to go, or there is no need for using the horn, by they do, and usually excessive even if in the driving school you learn the exact situations that allow the usage of sounds in traffic.

it definitely is irritating! sometimes i wish that their horns will get stuck and they'll be forced to drive around with that noisy sound. people really should try to be more patient when on the road.

Yes. Definitely. I hate it. I think it is some sort of psychic disorder. They even don't have the patience to wait even a second. The moment the signal turns green these people start blowing the horn.

I hate it too! Some sit right behind at a stop sign and if you don't go within say one minute off goes the horn! I saw a lady crash her car when someone did that to her; she was taking a bit too long to turn on a busy road and because of constant tooting behind her, she panicked and went through the intersection at the wrong time because she felt so pressured to move along. I wish people would calm down on the road, I am aware life is busy and we all have places we need to be but is it worth an accident? Constant honking is annoying and in some cases plain dangerous!

The use of horns is much less here these years. The concept towards the use of horn is changing. Several decades ago, the auto manufacturers ask for high durability of horn supplies, and boasted of the best quality of chinese horns. Now, it is regarded as a manner of politeness. It is not allowed to use horns in downtown areas. And the horning in traffic jam is really irritating, and stupid as it does not help anyway. Most irritating is the horning toward people wasking by the street side. It is a matter of politeness, rather than a use of a device.

Oh yes I hate it! Some people are really annoying. They honk like there is no tomorrow. Can't they just wait for a few minutes? If someone is dying or something, it is excusable. But some of them do it just because they are mannerless and inconsiderate. It irritates the hell out of me!. It also causes others to panic and make more mistakes.
