Task or not to task?

i think they're gonna make us polish all the interest icons.

Pola, the tasks part isn't what makes me wonder. The whole thing is. I wish they'd stop the tease and just put up the new site already. I'm not terribly patient.

I have no idea what the new package will be, but hopefully we might see our earnings grow more quickly.

I haven't seen the stimulus package, do you have the URL for it? Thanks

Yep, I have noticed it. By reading the new guidelines, it sounds as if we are to read through the responses before responding, so I'm thinking we may get credited for page views or something of that sort. I guess we won't know and just keep on guessing until they unveil it.

Thank you for mentioning that! I got the new alert that hinted at something different and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was different! Maybe it's something like MTurk where people hire out little things like counting the number of windows in a building or something.

Seems like Amazon.com's Mechanical Turk... people carry out brief tasks and get a little bit of money in return. I'll probably check it out, because I long ago got tired of the traditional Mylot discussion/response format. And with tasks you can do something more interesting (to me) than just chatting. Who knows, I might actually learn something new when doing a task. So yes, I'll check into tasks to see what it's all about.

I really don't know Pola... I am as confused as you are and just wish they would come out with it!! Seems like a lot of just want them to introduce it and kill the suspense but then that's My Lot for you! ~Heavens~

Hey polachicago! Yes, I did notice it. Though I couldn't even begin to guess what it is all about. Other than it's some new way to increase our earnings. I guess we will just have to wait and see!

Yes many have already notice it. Some are also counting how many repeat discussions there are now about it too

I have read the alerts but I have no idea what "about task" means. Why they can't just introduce whatever they are going to do beats me. I think that I'm turning into a grouch!
