I've just remembered, that the library near my house has CDs. I borrowed a few of them just today. Nirvana, Weezer, and Ten Second Epic. Now, I'm not sure if libraries in the US lend CDs, but in Canada, most of them do. So my question to you, my fellow myLotters, is: Do you, or have you ever borrowed CDs from your local (or not) library? I'm enjoying them so far, but I really hate the scrapes and scratches they have after a while. I borrowed one from 2005, and the CD was so scratched up, I can't even play it in my CD player or my computer, which really sucks, because it was a band I really liked.

Our local library (I live in Texas, USA) lends music, movies, and paintings in addition to books. I have not used this resource but I like to look at the options when I am in there.

I always browse the CD section, but today is the first time actually using the resource.

We have borrowed CD's from the library before; however, our library is very small, so there really isn't much of a selection. I was at the library a week ago, and it looks like they have added to their collection, but nothing compared to a library in a larger city. I definitely do not like getting a CD that is full of scratches, especially when they occur on one of your favorite songs.
