I have a front garden and back garden that has a shed at the end of it. I have grass and a garden path at the front. At the back there is a gate from my car parking spaces and then an area of wooden decking. There is a border of pebbles and then an area of grass. I have a few hardy palm like plants, one at the front and three at the back.
Do you have a garden?
If so what is it like?
Is the weather warm enough to enjoy it. If so at which time of the year?

I do not have a garden now since I graduated from the university seveal years ago. For us, if we want to own a garden, we need to spend a lot of money to buy a villa. Then I can build my garden. If I buy the house in the highrise, there will certainly be no garden. So this is different situation. Anyway, I do have a dream for the garden. I hope to plant a lot of beautiful flowers in it. Cheers.

Most years, I plant a garden for vegetables. This year I am moving so I will not be doing that. I am hoping to be able to have some plants in pots when I get where I am going. I used to grow plants on the patio years ago when I lived in an apartment. It is easy. If the weather gets bad, I can bring the plants in to protect them. I like growing things. It is interesting to see how they change from day to day.

It's so nice that you have a garden. I don't have a garden as I live in an apartment. Hopefully one day I will be rich to buy a mansion which has a garden and swimming pool:) If I have a garden, be sure I will plant some herbs so that I can have enough material to cook:)

I have a really nice sized back garden that I love - it is south facing and we have grass pretty much all over it apart from the back corner which which have started to make into a rockery. I love the summer when it is warm enough to sit in the garden with my dogs and as we have only a vegetable allotment on the back of us there are no neighbours looking right at us! x

hey there just seen this old discussion on your profile so thought I'd fill it in,
yeah I have a back garden and a little front garden well more of a blocked paved drive at the front.
Tho the back garden is south facing so yeah it gets the sun all day so its lovely, we are our looked which is a negative as am sure I scare the neighbour's when am in my speedo's ha ha ha
I have a few fruit tree's apple and a pear tree, I also have a hot tub and a bbq area so all in all yeah I use it as much as I can and if its cold I'll use the conservatory as thats boiling with just a little bit of sun.

we live in a town house, fortunately an end unit, so we have a small garden which my wife has made into a showpiece. Last night, we ate dinner at our outdoor setting, and if it weren't for the flies, it would have been extra special. As it was it was special. You can eat outdoors here for about ten months of the year. The exception being the rainy season.

Hello! Though I don't have enough space still I maintain a kitchen garden throughout the year.In my garden I have planted some seasonal vegetables and flowers.Besides I have planted some trees like mango, guava, papaya, pomegranate and bananas. All these plants provide me vegetables and fruits.I work in the garden for one hour in the morning because gardening is a good exercise.thanx.

Hello there! We used to have a garden at the back of our house. But unfortunately, we had to put cement on top of it and build a dirty kitchen so that we could cook there. Sigh!

Hi Maximax, yes I have a garden, I love worki g outside with my plants. The one I have now is new, I have only been here a year and I am having trouble finding plants that will grow in sandy soil and close to the beach. Mine is in my front yard along 2 sides of my wall. I have a coconut palm, banana plant, vinca's, an amaryllis, an orchid and a few herbs and tomatoes mixed in with it all. I have lined the border with coconuts that I find when I take a walk. The problem here isn't with the weather being warm enough to enjoy, its alway warm, I enjoy it more when it is a little cool.
