You have things to do everyday.. you get up in the morning and your day starts.. today you will have alot of running around to do.. do you make a list of things to be done so that nothing gets missed... do you make out a grocery list so that you dont miss the one important ingredient for that nights dinner?... or do you just wing it and see what gets done and what doesnt? my hubby ran to the store today to pick up a few things...of course he didnt have a list so he remembered to get the ink for our printer, only he forgot the lightbulbs that we now have 3 burnt out in the kitchen.......if the items are important and I do not want to forget them...I write it down!! do you.... ??

I always make lists of things to do, to buy, etc. I find that my hubby doesn't need a list, I just tell him what we need and he usually is very good at remembering to get everything. I on the other hand, depend on my written list and look at it alot to remind myself when I'm out. I also try to write down a week's supper menu before grocery shopping and then what I'm out of, so I've usually got suppers covered that way. Take care.

At my job I have to make lists and keep everything so organized that by the time I get home I am so sick of sticking to lists and schedules that I just try and wing it. Also it never fails if I happen to make a grocery list it seems I always leave it at home, so I just quit making them at home.

Funny I made a food list for the store last week and when I got to the store I realized I forgot the list. I had to go off of memory and that was hard. I did end up forgeting some items too. I sent the old man back to the store to get the items I forgot about it.

Making lists is probably the only OCD I have. I make lists all the time because I forget things. Even at work, I make a list of things to do and strike them off as I finish it. I guess, it helps me manage my time and effort well. People make fun of me but what the heck, it works for me!

I have a little spiral notebook which I write down what I am going to do for the day. I would also write down how much I spend on marketing or food or any other expenses. At the end of the week or when I have the time anytime within the week I would copy it in my grocery book. I have a book which is divided into sections - for grocery,, marketing, petrol, food....etc. And yes I do make a list when I go to the market or the supermarket in a small piece of paper. So that I will remember to get what I want. Plus it keeps me focus on what I am suppose to buy. You know we women tend to buy stuff that are off the list and later find it not useful or over buy? So I will just keep to the list but once in a while I do stray from the list as.....LOL !!!

I wish I did make a list of things for me to do, because when I do make a list I always get a lot of things done and time to spear. But often times I wing it and it doesn't turn out so good am always forgetting something. Making a list will be epically helpful for me because I have a lot of online money making opportunities do and try out and if I had a list it would be so much easier for me.

I have recently noticed my self making a list of things to do on the weekends and on sunday so I don't forget if I have alot of things to get done. When I go shopping I sometimes make a list or just try to remember it all. But that fustrates me when I forget something because I know I should have wrote it down.

Definitely, I'm the organized type who likes to plan as far ahead as I can and that goes for everything - finances, daily activities, important events, etc. and so on. Especially the finacial stuff, I try to nail everything down to paper that I can think of so that it is exact or almost exact.

I'm usually not busy enough to have to have things to write down, but if there is something really important that I need to do or I have a lot of things that I need to buy, then yes I have to write them down. When I go to the store I'll be much more distracted than if I'm at home, so I know I won't remember half of the things that I need.

I personally feel that listing out things that need to be done in an order is jsut so good, you never forget to missout things..I really appreciate this habit.. many of us really dont have that super memory ..some times in hurry we tend to miss out some very very important things like taking the passport when going to airport, or forgettting the hallticket to examination centre..etc..

Yes I do make a list before I and my husband goes to the grocery. I make a list because I don't want to forget buying important things and to regret because I did not make a list. In case I and my husband got to the grocery without list, what we do is just to walk on all the aisle so that we can check all the items and in that way we are thinking if the item in that aisle is available at home or not. It also helps us save time because we start at one point in the grocery and ends at the last counter. So tendency is we saw everything stocked in the shelves or containers. The good thing about writing down before going to grocery is that you tend to buy only what's on the list and not spending too much on things you don't really need. So I always prefer having a list with me.

No, I only write down what I need to buy for grocery stuff. Since my daily work in exactly the same so I don't need to write down anything for my scudule. I only mark down some days I need to do something on the calendar but even if I don't write it down, I seldom forget what I need to do.

the grocery list is a must, i dont want to go to grocery store without planning things to buy. This is the case where i want to control my expenses and i dont want to buy things not in my budget. For example, i will check my kitchen cabinet first and list the things i need to buy. Its a way to avoid buying "double goods", like you still have a bottle of soy sauce and yet you still bought another one because you are thinking you dont have it anymore. Regarding about things to do everyday, i dont keep a notebook like that but i make a list of things/reports to do if i have my deadlines. I dont want to stick to schedules sometimes because i feel like i am rushing everything. Sometimes i will just relax and finish the priority and work with the rest. With regards to my lovelife, yes i always maintain the schedule of date, but i can always get in touch with him everyday. But no list of things to do of course. Regarding mylot, i dont make a list of topics to start and list of discussions to join, i just join everyday and enjoy it everyday too. Happy mylotting!

No, not a list person. I guess that is why I am so unorganized. My 7 year old will make a list when we get ready to go to the grocery store. Last one went like this: Dog Food, Cat Food, Food, Candy, Chips. Now that list was real helpful when it came to figuring out what we needed. lol

I try to write things down as soon as I think of them. This way I'm hoping that I won't forget that one thing that we truly need. Of course I did make a list before we went shopping yesterday but failed to write a couple things down on the list and therefore came home and said *&%*! Not again! So the system isn't perfect but I'm trying...

Yes i do make a list before going to the grocery so that i would not be tempted to buy other things not necessarily needed and i can say that i am saving by listing what i need. When we do make a list, we do remember what is basically important to have like laundry soap or powder, some dish washing liquid, bath soaps, etc. But when i don't make a list, i sometimes forgot what i need in the kitchen or buy stuffs not necessarily needed. Now that prices of commodities are increasing and we do tend to keep our list minimal and for most save as much as possible, i don't think i can save more if i buy things not needed and not on my list.
