what's your attitude to lies?

Sometimes, i hate the liars, which make me like a fool.
But, sometimes, i LIKE lies, because it does make me pleased,even i knew.
Just as what had said,“the true words would not be so pleased by the listeners,but the lies would”.
It must acknowledge that we might lie to others,for some reasons,or some conditions we must do.
In the other hand, we like lies sometimes, which give the chance to the men who would like to toady to others, and enjoy so much.
Well, what your attitude to lies?

i think we should know why the liars lie?if they want to cheat people to benefit themselves,they are really bad.if they just try to make the listeners feel better and they do get nothing.i do think motivation is rather important to judge a person or a liar good or bad.chinese culture have excellent explaination for it.if you are interested you can read some chinese book to learn some.it will help you get rid of such worries.i recommend the book "the confucian analects" or "lao-tzu".

I hate lies. I often told my child not to lie. To be an honest person. That's right, we should educate the child like this. But as an adult, sometimes we had to make a kind lie, such as to the serious illness person,we often tell this person don't worry, you will be well soon. I think this kind lie could be accept. But if you do something wrong, don't lie,be honest is a good habit. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

Well, overall telling lies is not a Good thing and can lead to someone never knowing the Right from the Wrong and get mixed up when they continue to tell people things for sure. I can see where sometimes not telling the whole Truth could be Good, but you might end up having it backfire on you as well. So remembering to always Tell The Truth is the best way to go for sure.
