Okay guys the task section has finally been unveiled - have you had a look around yet? Have you completed a task? Did you do all of that before you got the alert? lol Just wondered cos I did!lol I thought it sounded too good to be true at first but it is a good way of keeping your brain ticking over and making a bit more money at the same time! Before I even got the alert I had completed a task and had it accepted - thought it would reject it at the last minute or something but no there is the payment of $3 in my earnings already! How fantastic is that? Lets hope it stays as good and all send a vote of thanks to mylot if it does!
Hugs to you all xxxx

My alert wouldn't have helped anyway, as it had nothing in it, my friend. I've only just read about the tasks section from another friend's discussion. I'll go in and have a look around but there are differing opinions on this... as always! lol.
Well done with the task you did... you seem to be having fun with it, anyway. I wondered why it was so quiet in here. I guess peeps are over there testing things out! he he.
Brightest Blessings my friend. xx

I think everyone was so busy testing it out they used them all up! lol There seem to be tasks coming in at different times so it may be an idea to keep an eye on it! Hope you find one you like. I know it isn't everyones thing and I would hope that people won't abandon the discussions for them ..... Hugs sweetheart xxx

Oh no honey it definitely won't stop me doing my usual and definitely not from interacting with you! Never, ever , ever. The way I see it is IF it stays like the way it is now then I would perhaps do one every day or every other day - $3 a task is amazing, especially when it doesn't take that long - it would definitely build up the kids birthday funds at a very difficult time financially! I would never beat you down honey - unless you were being a NAUGHTY boy! xxxx

I just glanced at it. I really don't feel like really getting into it just now. Perhaps tomorrow or when I have time I will really check it out. It did not really grab me but who knows it is just I am not much of a writer so am not so interested at this point.

mummymo (ma wee hen) You flatter me and you know me too well when it is really something I am passionate about I can go not stop but that can also be very boring to a person who does not have the same passions as I do.

LOL I love the fact that I can always tell when you are passionate about something - it is the Scottishness coming through Hen! lol
Hey if other people are bored by your passion that is their problem! I just don't always answer cos it is hard for me to answer some of it and I don't want to upset you by coming in saying - I really have no knowledge on this subject and it does not affect me in any way but I just wanted to say HI! lol

Hey whiteheather it probably won't be for everyone and that is okay - I bet you would be good at it though!
Alice whiteheather has been here even longer than me and she is a fantastic writer but usually writes about things she cares about or is passionate over xxxx

Hey! Good for you.
I did two tasks and they are still
pending. Hopefully they will pay out.
But if they don't it was still a fun
assignment.
I hope to be able to do more.
It was nice to have a real (potential) paying
assignment.
Good writing practice.

Yes I have had a look around at the new task section. I couldn't wait to see what the task were going to consist of. I have done a few of the twenty five cents and the ten cents. I want to try a three dollar one. I think those one will be more time conuming. The search a site keywords and get email address are pretty easy. Well we will have to thank mylot for great offer to help us make more money.

Well that's good that it was a topic that you knew about. Which made it a little bit easier for you. I accepted 8 finished them did not get a response yet or any returned. So will see.

Hi mo,
I've just logged in to check out the task section after reading this very helpful post of yours.
There's only one offer which is downloading and installing a toolbar. The reward is 10 cents, I'm not too keen on it though because I'm extremely cautious with installing things on my poor, old computer.
But I think that the task section is a good thing. It gives us the opportunity to earn a bit of extra cash. I only hope that there will be offers for non English speaking countries. I'll keep checking to see what comes up.
It's good to hear from you again. I haven't been on the computer too much lately. Had a rather nasty eye infection. The doctor said "no computer", but I need the extra income from my online surveys which is basically the only thing I've done on the Internet lately.
Hope you're ok.
Love and hugs
XXX Dana

OH Dana honey I am so sorry about the eye infection - that sounds painful! Please be careful with yourself! Hugs to you and your gorgeous daughter too.
I know that the tasks are very disappointing today - all the good ones are gone - I think that is because everyone wanted to try it out to see what it was like! Here's hoping that you will find good topics for you - as for non English speaking countries I am not sure how that will work but I know that many who do not have English as a first language speak and write English so well that they could complete the writing task easily! Hope to speak soon but will wait til your eye is better! Hugs xxx

It's not for me as I don't have the time for it, but it's a definite bonus for many others that are looking to supplement their earnings! I'm interested to see how people react if they get rejected though. That's pretty cool that you got paid so quickly as well. I hope they continue to be this quick in the future because if they do, they'll attract a lot of attention with this approach for sure. Good luck with it mummymo and I hope ya make millions!

Are the tasks posted somewhere after they are submitted? I've had a quick look but I've been away all day for the past 2 days and too tired to really check things out. I was also waiting to see if someone posted something on the subject so I'm pleased you did this.

Awww well I am glad I pleased you - I always get a warm glow inside when I do that! The tasks just go into the available tasks section but you have to accept them before they disappear or you lose out on them! Not for everyone I guess and I wouldn't do them too much but I like them! HUgs sweety - hope you have had a good sleep now! xxx

Wow, way to go, Sis!
I have only had a chance to peak around and see what it is all about. It is a little crazy around my place this week so I haven't actually tried to complete a task just yet. I'll look into it more sometime next week. Keep up the good work, Sis.... you'll sure be a millionaire in no time. Haha

I'm well peeved (see my new thread) as, personally, I think it's a bit unfair. The time the task would remain open clearly stated a week (for the Zolman task). As I'd only have 8 hours once I'd accepted, and I was tired when I saw it, I didn't accept till I'd done it in word doc. I went to upload - and the task was already gone!
I guess that meant they'd filled their quota but, in that case, this should be made clear at the top of the page. I've now noticed that underneath the tasks there's a number in brackets, and I guess that when that number's been reached the task closes. But how the hell can I keep an eye on that number going down/up/whatever when I'm working in word doc?
As far as today's goes - like the last broken chocolate egg on the shelf, I'm going to leave it. No way am I going to clug up my PC memory with another task bar for 0.10. I'll get that just through complaining in the conventional way!

I am so sorry that happened to you jazzsue and I will surely go and check out your thread! If you had accepted the task then you wouldn't have lost out - as you say the numbers in brackets seem to indicate how many spaces there are left on each task. Hope you are luckier next time! xxxx

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. I just saw it when I signed in a few moments ago, our 6 month old daughter had her pre-op visit today to get ready for ear surgery on Wednesday so we're all a bit anxious at our house. I'm hoping to get to it later tonight after I get caught up with responses, my graduate final exam, and emails. Hopefully your payment issue is just a minor glitch when setting anything up online. I will say though, as a teacher, it's kind of nice to see them being so specific on the larger writing pieces.

Sorry Anora I think the way I worded that was quite confusing - I actually meant that although I was skeptical the money had been put into my payments already - sorry for wording that so badly!
Oh no wonder you are anxious - I know I worry so much about my children when anything is wrong with them and they are a lot older than 6 months! I am sure her surgery will go well but I will keep her (and the rest of the family , especially you ) in my prayers!
Wow you have exams to worry about too? My goodness do you actually sleep?
I agree that it is quite good to see them encouraging us to write - even if it is not what we would particularly choose to write about! xxxx

I don't sleep well at all honey but at least I can rest during the day! Much harder when the kids are that young and you are studying!
All parents worry about their babies honey - even when there is nothing for them to worry about - I would be more concerned if you weren't worried and the fact that hubby has gotten her first on the list is fantastic!
You look after yourself sweety!
Can I just show my ignorance and ask - is Namaste a Buddhist greeting or have I gotten it totally wrong? xxx

Mummy-
I've been asking that myself. (About sleep that is lol). My hubby teases me telling me stories of his field days (Army) and not sleeping. I'm glad he can do it though, at least one of us isn't punchy. I'm glad to hear they paid you. I just completed my first, and yes, even though it's not completely my pick it was fun and a bit of monies. It's nice though that they are finding new ways, keeps us on our toes.
Thank you for your prayers. We know logically everything should be ok, but it's that parent thing. We just can't help but worry, and husband works in the hospital so he made sure she is a first case which means no surgeries will have been done in that room before hers, so that means it's more sterile. I'm glad he knows these things too because I wouldn't have known to check.
Thanks a bunch and namaste-Anora

Excited to see the new task being offered here, although i haven't accepted yet any of the given task, because i was thinking if i will be able to write an article about those certain topics and mind you, no copy pasting there.
I am sure that they won't pay anyone who is doing plagiarism and about the SEO thing, nah, i haven't done that yet, don't have a single idea, maybe i have to study further about it and by next task given, maybe i can participate.
What is good is that they are willing to pay extra amounts for people who would be accepted for their work or job. Let's see if there is more to come after this first task is done within 7 days. Happy Mylotting!

You are so right there strawberrychocodahi - plagiarism is not acceptable and it has to come from yourself not copy/paste. I do hope that if you want to try then something comes up that you will enjoy writing about! The first batch of tasks are finished already but I do think that this is partly because of the novelty of the situation! xxx

in my notion the new feature of mylot is quite great and interesting.
as you said 3$ for a task is quite good amount
apart of it the reason of happiness is that now we dont have to find out some other ways to earn when mylot itself providing this great opportunity

Hi mummymo! Wow, congratulations dear friend! I am really happy for you! I didn't know that the task has been unveiled already until I found your discussion. haha..As soon as I read your discussion, I hurriedly checked out the tasks and tried to write about the topic available. I have already submitted mine and hopefully (fingers crossed), it will not be rejected. Oh I really hope so.
Take care and blessings to you!

I'm reserving judgment. The availability to EVERYONE here of these tasks is limited, in that if you don't claim them before everyone else, you're out of luck.....NOT my idea of a 'stimulus' package for the WHOLE site, only the 'first come, first served'.....

Since I've been doing the Rowan thing all day I've only touched the top of things now but I did see the alert and checked into the tap.... I hope it's as good as it looks because I could use the extra. So when you all get a life and I get bored then I can play there.
Then we can all meet back here for cheesecake and P1ke. Interesting mix if you ask me.

Honey - us? Get a life? Who are you trying to kid? lol
Having said that p1ke and Cheescake sounds good, think I have a mandarin one in the freezer!
