This is just a quick one. The stimulus package from myLot has been causing a lot of waves through the myLot community and rightly so. I have responded in so many discussions about it and it is exciting time here at myLot.
Every discussion I have been involved in, I always rate everyone in the discussion positively as per the myLot guidelines.
It is a habit I have had since I joined.
Do you always rate everyone in a discussion even if it is not yours ?

Yes i do but not on a regular basis. Only those responses(...not on my discussion) which had an impact to me personally the moment i read it. There are response which can really get your attention like the ones with witty remarks, the ones which uses common sense and the ones i highly agree on. I do try my best to rate despite my handicap by using my phone to myLot which kind of affects my daily performance.

Yes I do agree that some responses can have more of an impact on you than others but I would always rate them all.
I can understand that it would be a little harder to use myLot on your phone. I must try that so I can myLot on the move, it is something I would have never thought of.
Thanks

I don't rate if the discusion is not mine. I did not even know that's possible.
What stimulus package are you talking about?
I must have missed that, because I don't mylot daily.
Hope it's something good....
I'll be grateful if you can answer me.
Thanks a lot!

Any user in any discussion you take part in can be rated even if it is not yours. It is something I always do to rate positively
The stimulus package is the new feature on myLot it is under the new Tasks tab, you can read about it here from one of the myLot staff

I always rate my own discussions, and usually rate in ones I post to as well. I like reading what others have to say and I think they deserve positive recognition for their responses. I also try to keep up with resolving my unresolved discussions to give credit to those who give complete and interesting responses to discussions I've started.

I like to rate each discussion even if it is not my own, I also rate the comments.
It is a good habit to get into. The only ones I don't rate are the rude comments, or negative ones.

Yes you don't always have to reply to a discussion to rate it. I always rate the discussion that I just read too.
You are right that is what makes myLot so good the different kinds of discussion both good and bad, without them it would be very dull.

If I open a dicussion then Irate the responses while reading them. Ido this toall of them regardless of whether I also respond on the discussion itself or not.

i did recieve a alert from my lot and checked out the stimulus questions .this could be good for some people that may have time. it looks like it will take a few minutes for some of the stuff they have to offer. i dont always have much time to even respond to the post but this sure may be a good thing if a person has a little time.

I always rate positively the person who started the discussion, but only rate some of the responses to it. Sometimes people only say three words as a response, I don't rate them. I have never given anyone a negative response.

Hello TheZone, good to hear that you have a practice of rating someone at every discussions you started and even if it is not yours, you still rate them.
I haven't tried rating someone outside the forums i initiated. But i guess there will be no problem too if i did not rate as long as i don't give anything negative to someone, that will be fine for me.
What i am aware of doing when i first started here on Mylot was to give the Best Response (BR) to anyone who is worthy of their participation in the forum i started. Happy Mylotting

Yes I have completed four of the tasks so far, just to try them out. I have had two tasks approved and have been paid for one of them in today’s earnings update.
So they do work and in my opinion they are a good addition to myLot and well worth having a go at

Normally I'll rate everyone with a positive if I start the discussion. I don't think I've ever rated anyone with a negative as far as I can remember. Well, if it's someone that has started the discussion, I'll rate those who are replying to my responses because I find some discussion with so many responses & if I were to rate the whole discussion it would probably the next morning already?
Haha!~

It's not actually a habit to me, since I am not doing this every discussion but I do the same to any discussion which I think deserve to be rated positively, negative ratings isn't my thing, because I don't want that either that would happened to me, the golden rule applies here. Anyway, I do rate someone's discussion and I do also rate an individual especially when I know he/she deserves it. Its a way of helping each other here anyway, just a personal point of view anyway.

I have to say from day one of joining myLot I have always rated every user in the discussion I have respond to even if their view differed from my own, I have always rated the positively.
The only time I rate anyone down is if they are violating the rules of myLot.

Yes I always do unless it's a really crappy response like "I don't know" and that's it haha those kinds of responses don't deserve positive ratings :) There isn't even any effort points that I can put!
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I wasn't very conscious enough about it at first because I thought I will only rate when necessary but when I started noticing that my star keeps going up and down and up and down again, I realized the need to rate and be rated positively to keep a certain status or rank.
I only rate positive to friends I constantly come in contact with as a gesture of appreciating them for their participation. I have never rated anyone negative before. I don't want to contribute to anybody's downfall. LOL

Yes I do...Im sure when I first started and was still figuring things out, that there were a few times when I forgot..Now I do it automatically. Its only fair that everyone participating gets rated fairly
