In the past, ladies are said to wear only skirts. It symbolizes their role in the society.
Through the years fashion statements had evolved. So, it doesn't really matter what you wear.
Ladies out there, what would you prefer? Pants or skirt?

i used to live in jeans but I wear skirts most of the time now because I feel smarter for work and more feminine

I know - it isn't easy! I was worried about people laughing at me because Id be the only girl wearing a skirt where i work. So It took me a while to find the courage. They didn't - everyone said I looked great.
Dont worry about the legs, you don't have to have the best legs i nthe world...trust me...you'll feel like a new girl when you step outi na smart skirt!!!

I never wear skirts or dresses. Never liked them and have always found pants to be more comfortable and easier to deal with on a day to day basis. In fact, the last time I wore a dress was in 1974...on my wedding day.

I like both. It just depends on the weather whether i wear a skirt, pants or a dress. The weather is nice outside today so I put on a dress. Im sorta the girly type. I wear skirts and dresses as much as I wear slacks to work. I really all just depends on my mood and if I feel like ironing in the morning.

Hmmmmmm! I wonder how this question would work in Scotland. Ever seen a man in a kilt?
As for what do I prefer? I prefer to be judged as a person first and then as a woman. I prefer to use good judgment in these areas.
I would not pick a skirt on a windy day. It worked for Marilyn Monroe but it doesn't work for me. I think pants are much more appropriate in this setting or when the weather is below zero and your legs are turning blue. Going to a wedding or a fancy dance in jeans would be a little awkward. It's fun to spend a lot of time either making or looking for the right dress.
I like to be creative with color and design. I like to mix and match and today because it's St. Patrick's Day, I will dig for something green to wear. I hope this was not unkind but after growing up never being allowed to wear pants unless you were working on the farm, I am glad those days are gone. I like freedom of choice and variety in moderation.

I prefer pants. I feel more comfortable that way. I am just not a girly girl type. I dont even wear makeup or jewerly or perfume.
