Oh my lord, I actually remember those!! I don't care for Scream and yet I laugh anytime I see it lol. I think it was a good one to point out some of the absolute ludicrous things people do in that sort of situation. I think for me the stupidest movies I've seen in terms of horror recently are The Grudge, Silent Hill, and a few in that vain. They just let me down in that they are so incredibly unrealistic, without plot, and well just dumb. I'd much prefer to sit around and watch something like the Saw movies that actually have an intricate plot line that leaves you scratching your head at the end of the movie, yet wanting to see the next story.

I know my favourite horror movie although I don't know whether it is stupid or not! I love the original 'Demons'. That was an 80s horror movie, quite graphic in places but it certainly did the trick for me! I just love horror movies and they take me to places where I would never venture otherwise. I think it's good to focus on things outside of reality from time to time. There's no danger in me becoming a serial killer or anything like that though! Andrew

I prefer thriller / horror nothing gory. I like to be scared not be made sick, LOL!!! I love vampire movies, action movies, fantasy, Narnia & anything Harry Potter & Johnny Depp. I will be so happy to see Johnny Depp play Barnabus Collins. I love Dark Shadows!!!! And I too do not like love stories. And the most crazy Horror flick I have ever seen was a movie called Montag. He was a magician that did illusions but once the volunteer leaves the building they die....for example if he sawed them in half once they left the building they would fall apart. I have only seen this movie once & I have never seen it again.

attack of the 50 foot women it ws not really scary but it was a hoot. They did make a remake of it in the 90's and that was a little scraier but it was not a classic like the orginal. The orignal swamg thing was greta to beucase my older brother (16 years older) said it was super scary when he was a kid. By the time i saw it it was just funny.

i liked the scream triology probably up there with my favorite horror movies i think that was done by the same guy who made the nightmare on elm street movies the ones that had freddy kruger as the villian that got you in your dreams kind of funny is my aunt actually lived on elm st in the town she lived in always thought that was kind of funny coincidence watched a few of those and the friday the 13th ones i liked the one where they were in new york city that one was ok. but i would say the scream ones were my favorite i also liked the ones that poked fun at the horror movies.

Gee, I wish I could remember the name of it! It came out in the 70's and was about a vampire who was gay. I don't know why but I found it was a funny horror/humor movie lol. If it ever came back on tv, I know I'd watch it again. I like that Eddie Murphy movie too, Haunted Mansion? (Wow...I'm really batting 1000 with remembering the names of these movies hahaha) Hmmmm, I'm thinking I want to see that Hillbillies in a Haunted House...sounds like it might be a comedy horror movie too.

I remember many years ago when I worked in a video store, it was in a cottage country and the teenagers that were visiting tended to rent several horror films at one sitting. They would sit up half the night with these type of movies. I guessed it was the modern equivalent of sitting around the campfire telling ghost stories. Most of these type of movies are a bit cheesy and cater to teens as they are the ones that seem to get the brunt of the slashers.

My favourite stupid horror movie would have to be Braindead directed by Peter Jackson of The Lord of The Rings trilogy. It is so funny and has become a cult classic. There are some great moments in it such as the zombie baby and the infamous lawn mower slicing zombie scene. It always makes me laugh every time I see it. I have too agree with you too, the scream movies were very good and a great reinvention of the slasher flick, Was Craven did a really good job with that trilogy.

I cannot live without Halloween. And not the remake! I was so bummed out when I saw the remake. I also love carrie, which is another movie that SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMADE!
