What do you do when you stay at home yourself?

Well, I'm on Spring Break right now, so I have the opportunity to do a lot of things at home right now. . I like cleaning when I have free time, organizing, re-arranging rooms, listening to music, watching day-time television, going on myLot, running, catching up on assignments/studying, and so on. I will prety much do anything.

well that would be lonely and spooky har har har. since i got married i never was left alone at home. during the times when i was single, i would play video games or bring out my guitar and play when i am alone. now that i am married for 6 years and we havea three year old son i was never lefty alone at home yet. if that happens maybe i will play video games or be at mylot.

When I am home by myself, I usually just try to get a lot of housework done. Also, I run errands and try to plan out a nice dinner since I have more time to fix something a little bit nicer than usual. I also use the extra time to get things done online, like visiting mylot and catching up on emails. If I have plenty of time, then I also really like to get outside and do something, like go for a walk to get some fresh air and exercise.

When I am home alone, there is always work to do. I have two separate businesses that I run from home, so if there's nothing to do with one of them, then there surly is with the other. There's also the housework of course. But if I do have a day all to myself, I read a lot, watch whatever I want on TV, and play computer games. I really cherish the time I get to spend alone.

Well, if I stayed at home alone I used to watched movies, or listening to my favorite radio station, or just go to sleep to refresh my mind.. Since my favorite past time is too sleep, most of the time I just go to sleep at home..

I am a stay at home mother and I am usually home anyway while my husband is working. My young son is home right now and should be attending kindergarten at some point. I usually just do my chores and do some things here on the computer to pass away time. I don't really stay home by myself a whole lot but when I do I just catch up on some things that I fell behind on when it comes to some house hold chores and the like. It is nice to have some peace and quiet once in a while. And I do take advantage of that idea when I can.

I usually get online,watch tv,prepare homeschool for my daughter on the next day.Sometimes I get time to make phone calls or write letters with no interruption,thank God.

I would probably also listen to music in bed, grab a good book and start reading. If I get a bit sleepy then I will just go ahead and take a nap. I prefer to read books than to watch television unless there is a really good show on the cable. I consider days like that to be a treat especially with two active boys at home. I hardly have a quiet day alone.

Hello tjsally. When I do stay at home, I do some chores, while I listen to the radio. I turn-up the volume of the radio, so I wont feel that I am left home alone. I also watch tv and talk to my friends on the phone.

When I have the whole house to myself I like to read, play on the computer, and just enjoy the quiet. I listen to whatever I want, catch up on TV shows on the DVR, and occasionally clean without anyone under foot. I hate cleaning though, so I avoid that as much as possible.

When I am home by myself, I do a lot of work both on my computer and around the house. It is so quiet, I am able to get a lot accomplshed without distractions. Once I feel I have gotten a lot done and I am ready to take a break, I will pick up the phone and call my Mom. I talk to her for a while, thenit is back to work.

The usual stuff, clean the house , cook and stay on bed , then chat or surf on the net..

everyone has somewhere to go during the day except me right now. i am unemployed so after they leave, i mylot, do housework, write on some of my writing sites, take a walk, cook, clean more, email people, look for jobs. some days the time goes slowly other days fast. it is quiet and i like that. i raised 4 kids and am still raising 2 kids. any peace i get is welcome.

what a break ! really ,we moms need to capture moments like this when we can just relax, alone all by ourselves. i do exactly that lie down or watch a film.i love watching movies if i do not read ,it is what i do.i work 5 days a week i really look forward to days off.my kids are 14 and 20, sat and sun they go to church activities .my husband would take naps ., so i can do my thing it refreshes me recharges me to chores in the coming week.we sure need it.a simple way to pamper ourselves and help regain our sanity. hahaha.

I dont get much time alone but when I am I do a variety of things, first I clean and if I feel up to it I will deep clean a room. I scrapbook, read or play here on the net. Rarely I will watch TV. I would love to be alone a little more in my house so that I could clean it stay that way for more then 5 minutes! lol I actually love being alone and having me time.

I do what I usually don't when there are people around: I watch the television :D Whenever I watch television, it means I'm in my most do-nothing-mode. I don't really like the television except that it's a good way to pass the time for a couple of hours (I can't watch for any more than 4 hours straight) - but I really do prefer spending time either with friends and family or just in front of the PC :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I will clean the house, that's the best thing I can do, after that I'll take a good shower then have a relax ^_~ Weew, It will feel so good that after a work you can fully relax while seeing your your house sparkling clean

I usually get things done around the house play with my ferret go online eat and go to sleep.

it all depends really, i do enjoy just surfing the internet anyway so mainly just surf the net and see what i can see, i do run my own music forum aswell, so that takes up a good bit of time

I prefer to browse net.Read some magazines.Listen to my favorite music.Paint my dreams and cook the food I love.Finally sleep as much time as I like.
