being a big sister is not that easy...

I think being a big sister is not easy when we have naughty siblings,but I am not having this problem. I am glad to say that both of my younger brothers are obedient and always listen to what I say. They always know what they should do and should not do. They never cause problems to me. That's why I am happy to be their big sister. In the other hand,if we have disobedient siblings and never listen to our words,it would be hard days for us to be big sister or even big brother.

I hate it that I scold them, but I love them that is why I am scolding them.

I agree with you, its relatively complicated, but wonderful at the same time. I am the oldest. I have 5 younger siblings. And, I hated it and loved it all at the same time. Just try to enjoy it, because when they are grown, you will miss it!

I totally agree that being a big sister is not easy. First, you have to set a good example to your younger siblings. You must take care of them, guide them and yeah, ne in charge if you're parents are not around. I am the big sister in the family and even if its hard, I enjoy it. I love my siblings and I love taking care of them even if its hard. Now that I am thousands miles away from them, I miss them terribly. On the second thought, nothing is easy...being a parent isnt easy, being a spouse isnt easy. Having all thoise responsibilities and roles are parts of being an adult. Yes, you are right. It is not easy at all and being a big sister means you have lots of responsibilities as well. I am a big sister to two of my younger angels. Masha Allah they are grown up now but i now take to pride to tell you that i have nurtured them, told them what's right and what's wrong by sharing my own experiences with them. More than an elder sister i have always been a friend to them, though my aunt says that i am a mother figure to them and i love them so much that a sister can never do. An advice that i would like to share here with all the big sisters, please don't just order them what to do what not to. Show them what's right and how to do it by doing it YOURSELF. I've always done that and they never argue with me. Being a big sister along with the responsibilities asks you to be gentle towards your younger siblings, you should be loving and caring as well not just bossy all the time.
