Organic foods are better for you, this is true. They are also tend to spoil more quickly, so this means more trips to the grocery store. I agree that organic foods are the answer for healthy living, but they tend to be more expensive and in today's economy, many people cannot afford the extra money it costs to buy these foods.

you are absolutely right. But look at the price we pay for our medical expenses. In comparison to that the price is less for organic food.Once it will gain popularity it will definitely cost less.

My father was a farmer and I grew up on a vegetable farm. He did not use chemicals or sprays except on very rare occasions. Since he has passed away, I watch the farmers and how they farm. If you saw how they spray the vegetables before you get them in the store, you would not buy them no matter what. They use high powered sprayers and wear what looks like space suits. They warn people living near the fields to close windows and doors for protection when spraying is taking place. It's not just a light covering of spray it is high speed forced spraying. I can't imagine that it does not penetrate the food completely. Yum!

The residues of pesticides always remain there and cause slow poisoning.
