The sky in my town is black at this hour, it's covered with big black clouds that threaten "boom!"
Fortunately, we don't meet in my country hurricans, big earthquakes, tsunami or other powerfull forces of nature. But I'm afraid of "little ones" - storms, hail, thunders... It may sound awkward, but this is the truth. I'm like a child ready to hide under his blanket when I get scared.
Are U afraid of these things too? Which is the one that scares you the most?

I'm from Romania and we never had a tornado here, as far as I know. Big storms, yes, but rarely in my area. I don't imagine how difficult is for you to face this every year. I've seen extreme phenomena only in documenatries and it was awful.
I almost felt the terror of the ones that lost their homes or their relatives.

Good Question ellemissela, I too have a healthy respect for the Danger of Tornados, and the storms that surround them (usually hail & lightning). I grew up in 'Tornado Alley' the part of the US where there are the most tornadoes. Luckily my family and I have never had much damage from these storms. The phenomenon that bothers me the most is Tsunami. While Tornado and Hurricane storms have at least some warning, the tsunami seems to strike without warning and can destroy a whole area in minutes. I can't imagine being on holiday at a beach and being swept up by the sea with no warning.... :-(

Hi, ellemissela! I am so sorry that the weather where you are at, is gloomy! Here, in Sumter, South Carolina, it is sunny and it will be 77 degrees today. I wished that you could be here where I am at. The tornado is the storm that scares me the most! I have been scared of it since I have been little. The funnel cloud is very scary when it forms, it circles around and around. I am scared to get caught up in it, there is no telling where it will take me. I wish for this storm to never have to come to our town! Or no town! That is why I could not live in any western state, like Kansas City or Nebraska.. Count me out! I hope that you will be okay and that this storm will go away, just as fast as it has came! Stay safe!

I'm not afraid of thunder but i do like the feeling it gives you with that sudden BANG then the lightening ... i was on an airplane many years ago flying back from states and i can see out the window a lightening storm it was amazing .. but thinking about it i think what would worry me most is a flash flood or tsunami where you can be trapped and drowned .. I hate the thought of drowning..
