Gender Issue

Has there been a time when you wish you were instead a boy instead of a girl/a girl instead of a boy? When I just got my first monthly period, I felt like the boys are lucky they need not go through the monthly period thing. But when I got used to it, I still prefer being a girl. I find it more fun :)

Hi! Bubble! I am very happy to be a man. Let me say that there are some distinct advantages in both the genders and those specialities are unique to each gender. For example, a man cannot give birth to a baby, however a woman can. I believe that it is one of the most awesome and wonderful experience to carry a child, give him/her birth and to bring him/her up. Both a man and woman are incomplete without each other. Since I have taken birth as a boy, if God permits me in my next birth I would like to be re-born as woman, so that I could experience specialities of both the genders.

Your statement about being reborn made me think what I would like to be next... I'm convinced I still want to be a girl!

I've said it before and I'll say it again; I should have been born a gay man _ I've pretty much wanted to be male since I was old enough to understand the words 'boy' 'girl' and 'pink' *growl* I'd much rather have a male body (I can actually get away with playing a guy quite easily if I tuck away my hair; no hips). I like to wear men's clothing, I like 'masculine' books, films, foods (I'd much rather have a strong, dark ale than a girly pop). The only thing I think I'd miss would be my hair... but men can have long shiny hair, and it's not like I do anything with it as a girl. The only advantage I've experienced in being a woman is getting served at the bar first. Oh, and people expect less of you, so you can be lazier in life if that's how you want to play it _ Of course, I'd probably feel so much different if I were living in a country that isn't in northern Europe.

Yeah men can have long hair, or a very stylish hair (like those hair of anime characters) and that works well with your hair type I suppose. I could already imagine, you could be more good looking than real men. And your advantage over other men, you know what women want women would actually choose you over real men.

lol, I wouldn't bet on it. Women confuse me.

Hi, bubbletush! There are only certain times when I feel as if I want to be a boy. When my menstrual cycle comes on and causes me pain. When I am having contractions as far as being in labor is concerned. When I am going through my first trimester and I am very sick to my stomach. And last when I get swollen legs and feet during and after pregnancy. These are the ONLY times that I will want to be a boy. I wished that a male could feel what we women could feel too! That would make it so much better! But, overall, like you, I would not change being a woman to a man. I am happy with what God designed me to be!

I don't have a child yet but they say that even though women go through some difficulties being a woman, like those you've mentioned, at the first sight of your newborn baby, it's the best feeling in the world. And that's what men are missing. That bliss.

I never really had issues about my gender. I have always wanted to be a boy/man. I'm just glad i am. I enjoy being a man and i'm enjoying every minute of my manhood.

Women do enjoy being on the receiving end and I know the men somewhat have this feeling of satisfaction being able to well provide for the women

Hello bubbletush! We have the same feeling about the monthly period..I also thought of that especially during the first 2 months that I have it. It's just that I can't understand why we have to have a monthly period and that boys can't have. But as time goes by, I realized how lucky I am that I am girl..hehehe..

Yes, and for the same reasons as you have already mentioned! I enjoy all other aspects of being a female. They say "guys" also have "monthly's" but in different ways. I would never wish to be a guy though, I enjoy being a girl to much. I think God knew what he was doing when he made me, because I am happy with who I am.

No I am happy the way I am born, as a boy.I just cannot think of certain things that the women have to endure.

Hi Bubble, i never think about it. Im happy that i am a girl and treat so special. I never work too much on the farm like boys or men do. Instead i just do household chores. Even we do have monthly period im still fine with it aside from having dismenorrhea, and i think it's better than being circumsize.

Hello bubbletush! I am a guy and I have never wished I were a girl. The reason you stated just consolidates my feeling. I think everyone should be quite happy by the way he or she is and should not want to swap the roles. Girls get pampered by anyone and everyone in their lives and we guys are not so lucky. Thus, both the sexes have some plus points and minus points.
