Which Internet connection are you having at your home or office? From where do you surf net? What is the speed of your connection? I am using bsnl broadband. I have few problems with it. Many times it gets disconnected, hanged. Many times I get errors and then I am unable to connect net for a day or two. Then I keep trying and trying and contacting customer care and giving complains but still it takes time. Like yesterday my net was giving some error and dint worked til today evening and i lost a day to complete my sites. Which is the best connection you think?

I am also having the same BSNL broadband (256kbps) in my home and I will be surfing the net only from home. Due to the increased registrations, the BSNL is struggling to provide the better service to all. But if you go for some other network, it will be still poor and I came to know this from my friends who are using some private networks. But here if I make complaints, mostly they are rectifying it within one or two hours.

Before even I had the same opinion. If I complained my problem was solved in a short time but now it takes a very long time for my net to start again. Since past few days I am facing many problems on net, Slow speed, Gets disconnected, Doesn't starts for a long time once if got disconnected and so on.

Get the exact IP address from the concerned BSNL office and configure your connections accordingly. Otherwise you may set the option to " Obtain the IP address automatically". If there is a change or conflict in the configuration if IP address, our connectivity will not be normal. If you are sharing your connection for more than one system, keep the IP address separate for two systems so that that there is not a conflict of address.

WE are using DSL at home. I cant remember its speed but it is conveniently fast. So far for more than one month of using this, we have not yet encountered any major problem. DSL is just great.

I also have the same connection and yes the same kind of problems.however those problems have not troubled me for say about 2 weeks but they have irritated me many times.I sure hope they improve their service.I have a 256kbps unlimited connection.so a day lost is a big thing for me.I also have a lot to do on the net.So it is very difficult if it does not work for 2-3 days at a stretch

I'm too having BSNL BB. I think BSNL BB is best out of all & cheap too. I haven't faced any single problem from past 8 months. I'm having HOME 500Combo plan. BSNL has decreased rent of 500 plan to 350 Details are as:
175 Calls Free(Rs.1/call)
Rent: 300(20% off to Govt. Employees on total BB rent)
Tax: 35(20% off on tax too)
2MBPS connection speed(250kbps downloading/uploading speed)
02:00AM-08:00AM free downloading/uploading
1.5GB free downloading/uploading per month
So, my total bill is about Rs.335 only...
