Why some discussions have no answer while some others have a lot?

ithink it has alot to do with the subject someone had started. where i know i've had started some and get alot of reply well others i get either little or none

I checked your profile and find out that you have only 5 friends in mylot. I know you are a new member that is why you have less number of friends in your list. Add as many as friends so that the number of responses will also increases. Mylot members are different with their interests. I think only few people have crossed through your discussion and that is the possible reason for not getting responses. You can add new members and simultaneously you can start to respond their discussions so that you can make a rapport with each other and will get responses from your friends in future. So be ready to accept more friends in mylot. Hope you will enjoy with your friends. Best of luck.

First, allow me to welcome you to this wonderful community you have chosen to join, I do understand you since same question occur to me way back when I as new here, later I was able to come up with the answer to my question. Let me share to you some of those, 1. you must be able to win more friends in here, choose the active ones, they are the ones who regularly visit thus, they can respond to your discussion. 2. You need to have a discussion that captures the interest of mylotters 3. respond to your started discussion, this way your discussion would be updated from time to time. 4. make sure that you do respond to someone else discussion, that is the beauty in here, a give and take process, this is a social site that is the very sense we are here in the first place 5. patience, its not necessarily a one night or two to generate responses as many as others have 6. be open, be friendly. I hope I do help.

So far, I only had one discussion that never garnered any response.And yes, I did feel bad at first. When I started in mylot, I din't have any idea how to make my discussions earn responses. But it helped me when I added many friends. I added everyone who responded in my discussions as friends, as well as the authors of the discussions that I responded to. Plus I started tagging my started discussions. of course your discussion must also be interesting too. Some discussions I had only earned 3 or 5 but for me that's good enough.

I have the same puzzle, and I have been pondering over the question for some time. It seems the topics of the discussion make great difference. And the way you put them in the question you submit. The most responsed discussions are usually well managed by the starters, with comments following the responses, and lastly the starters usually have a set group of friends on site, by the way they present themselves, including avaters & friendliness, wording & tunes, knowledge & sincerity.

hi,Clarissa, don't worry about that, i am also new ,and sometimes there was no respond with some of my discussion, just do it. it will be better.

sometimes it happens butit is not the case daily andregular. each people have their own interests and they respond to the one they are interested into, and also isometimes you discussion goes unsen and hence you dont getresponses and might be there are less people online when you have started the discussion and this all might bethe reaons but i suggest you really dont bother about it when i was new here even i use to think this way so better you do your wrting and look for your earnings and this is what going to help you and the people if tey response also you are not going to earn for that and hence dont waste time in thinking this and getting upset and losing interest. so better you write as much as you can nd earn more.
