my baby is 7 months old and I cannot get her to sleep through the night. She wakes like 5-6 times a night just for me to either rook her to sleep or nurse her to sleep. During the day she will only take 2 30 mins naps. I'm am so tired from the lack of sleep she use to sleep so much better when she was little.
Any advice on getting her to sleep through the night. I really want to try to avoid making her Cry It Out.

It can be different things causing this. Teething is so common in the first year. Also it could be a phase. Separation anxiety. Or a growth spurt. Dont feel bad though yours is just seven months. My son just turned two in january. He has only slept through the night maybe five times since he was born. Thats every few months. He wakes up numerous times throughout the night. He stays up late fighting his sleep. Then I struggle after being up all night with him waking up at six in the morning to get ready for work. I have been trying to find a sleep center for his age but the closest one is like two or more hours away and my fiance doesn't want me to travel that far and on top of that stay all night for a sleep study. I have been fighting to find answers for months now. The pediatrician says there is nothing he can do. I hope you find out whats the problem with yours though. Also the sooner you get it under control the better. If it goes on for a while a child can get use to waking up then it can become a sleeping disorder. GOod luck!

Well My youngest who is 10 months old has just started sleeping through the night.. Although he never woke up 5-6 times a night. That is alot. My advice is what you dont want to do and that is to cry it out. I know how hard it is to do that, I am not saying to let them cry for hours but when she wakes up in the middle of the night. Dont race in there. Maybe she will go back to sleep in 15 minutes. She could be alittle bit spoiled from knowing that mommy will come take her out of the crib everytime I am up. That is what was happening with my son and I stopped it gave him a bottle in the crib and he would doze right off. Now I get 11 hours of sleep. WHo knew that would ever happen. Good Luck and I hope you get sleep soon
