we started rescuing dogs around 7 years ago,we had gotten in too it when we were in Florida and seen an add in the paper about how many dogs had no homes after the hurricane in lake Katrine so we went to the local shelter and feel in love with a poodle and a chow and adopted them.We got to thinking about how many animals in this world had no home.we decided to start our own rescue shelter.we got your next three poodles from a kill shelter in ga had them for about three months until the were ready to go to a new home. Our fourth dog a pom came from a lady who could not afford to keep her, this one we ended up keeping.your 6,7,8 all labs were a bonded in a dumpster.went to a lady who gives them lots of love and room too run.our next to dogs a English hound and a pitt bull found their way onto our property good thing they did the were full of fleas and ticks and so skinny that you could see their bones.we also keeping them because not many people want big dogs.Your last and rescue that we have is a hunting dog that just had 7 pups, that will be up for adoption as soon as they are ready.Any how we love doing this.

i admire you for your good soul. adopting dogs and taking care of them it is a remarcable thing. i also took my dog from a person like you. i saw my dog on internet, on an adoption site and contacted the persona who gave me my actual dog. it was a puppy, mixed breed, but i didn't matter for me, a dog is such a joy. again, congratulations. by the way, i keep in touch with that person, and help her as i can.

Hi corona , and Great Job!!! The world needs more people like you ! I would just love to hear more about how you got this all started . I live in a small village in Mexico and I and others would love to get something like this going here . Here there are soo many street dogs. Some of them are so sickly, and they just keep having more and more puppies . We are always talking about getting a shelter started in our village . One that does free neuters and spays . If at all possible could you send me a private message and tell me more about how you started a shelter ? I'm very interested .. Bless you for what you have done to help so many animals find homes .

All I could say is..."Wow! You're Amazing!" Honestly, saving dogs is such an amazing job. If I could I'll probably take in pets as my own as I am a former pet-hobbyist/lover/breeder. Though as of the moment, I had to stop for my studies. But I'll resume taking in pets by the time I finish college. After all, my pets are my family and also my friends. Remembering the times I spent with them makes me cry. And after reading this, I feel enlightened as I have gained knowledge that I'm not the only pets who cherish pets as their own family. I really wish you luck! And I also like to thank you for everything you have done for the dogs.
