Do you eat ice cream out of the container?

I'm guilty I admit. I do eat the ice cream out of the container when it's just about empty rather than putting it in a dish or bowl. It gives me great joy to get every last bit of ice cream out. Do you eat ice cream out of the container?

I will sometimes eat ice cream out of the container. I will even sometimes eat the first bite out of the container. I agree on it seeming sill to put the last little bit of ice cream in a bowl and needlessly dirty a bowl. I will even sometimes grab a spoon and take just one bite out of the container on my way through the room.

Sometimes that's all you need.

Hi ya Shar19 Actually I don't do that, not unless there is only a little bit left in the tub and it saves on the washing up. You see, when I buy ice-cream I normally buy it in large tubs which is too much for one person to eat in one go, or even two or three goes, so it gets put back in the freezer until the next time. When there is just a bit left, just enough for me, then I will eat it from the tub!

No I don't eat it from the container but I have had my son eat it that way. If the container is about empty I will tell him to just eat it out of the contatior instead of getting a bowl dirty that we will have to wash. Saves on the dishes that way.

Only when it's down to the bottom and I am finishing it. I wouldn't like to eat after someone else so I don't want to be the cause of doing this to others.

I don't think I've ever eaten ice cream out of the container. I like mine in a cone if I have any. If not, I eat it in a bowl. Have a good lotting day.

Actually yes. LOL. Last December when I stayed at my partner's house for a night, we just decided to go and buy some ice cream. We even did not bother getting a bowl. We just grab our spoons and eat everything up. No need to get embarrassed by it. Also same as you, when the ice cream is almost half empty, I'll just grab a spoon and eat it. It's quite fun actually, especially when you've got someone to share it with.

I'm greedy. I'd rather save it for myself.

What? You use a dish at all? Why? Unless it's like a gallon size I just grab a spoon and the container and go to town. Why waste a clean bowl? of course, I am usually the only one eating that ice cream, so getting germs into it doesn't bother anyone. But, then again, I don't tell guests about it so if they do have some they are none the wiser.
