Letting go of problems.

We all have problems but did you know that all the problems you face today are going to go away, unless you worry them into sticking around. Problems like worry, it is a magnet for them. If you just "let it be," much of the current worrisome condition will not even be part of your life a short time from now.If you worry enough about it, however, you can be sure that it will stay with you. So, just do the very best you can and let it go. How you let it go doesn't matter, surrender it to God, to the universe, however you like to handle these things. If you don't believe in a higher power just remember you've done everything you possibly can and if you're still worried, write on a piece of paper exactly what you are worried about and purposely drop into the waste basket and say, "it's gone, I'm finished with it". While this may seem too simple a solution for many, just think about the problems of six months ago, a year or even five years ago. The chances are you won't remember many of them and if you do, ask yourself, did worrying really help?

Hi there! I absolutely agree with you that worry does not really help us, instead, it is like a disease that entangles the soul, body, and mind. It is like cancer that eats up the strength of an individual. Knowing about this, should we still keep on worrying?

Hi France, Thank you for commenting and we agree, it is like a cancer and yet so many feel that they can't stop it. There are others who feel that it's necessary- go figure that one. Blessings.

Hi there! There was a research made about the real cause of sickness of those patients at a certain hospital, and the result was that most of the sickness are absolutely curable by the people who have them. The thing that makes them feel sick is actually worry....

We can let go of problems by trying to find a solution to it first. If we really can't solve it no matter how hard we try then right offer it to God, pray for help and wait for a while a solution migth be on the way, that's one way of resting your mind, thinking positively that God is good and with him nothing is impossible. Go to sleep and when you wake up, thank God for the solution or should it was not completely solved, still thank God at least you had let go of the problem.

As usual a good discussion, I do so enjoy reading yours. I often wonder how humans got of the tread mill of worry. It has never done any good and most animals give up activity that has no benefit. No us, we hang on to worry with everything we have. It's an interesting question don't you think.

Hi savypat, Thank you and you're right it is an interesting question. Animals easily give up things that are of no more use to them, and yet we think of ourselves as the "higher" species ---- I wonder. Blessings.
