How old do you when you got your first mobile phone?

Hey there! I can remember getting my first phone when I was in Grade 7. I was around 10 years old at the time and the phone I was given was a Nokia 5110.

Hi, Oscarchen! I was 29 when I got my first cell phone to talk on. When I was in high school, my family did not believe in buying me a cell phone.. So, therefore, I never really saw the need to have one.. So, I just never got one.. When I had my kids, that was when I really considered getting one then. But, my husband, tried to talk me out of it. But, I still got one anyway, later down the line that is.. I have a Nokia Net10 Prepaid cell phone. It works great! I have been thinking babout getting me a Verizon Blackberry.

Gosh, I got my first phone when I was 17 and it was a Nokia 3310. I'm 27 now and I've had 7 phones in my life. The first 5 were Nokias, and the last two were Motorola, and I would never go back to Nokia again. I love my motorola flip phones.

All these young ones that got their phones as teenagers! I didn't get my first mobile phone until I was in my thirties and that was because my husband insisted on it for safety reasons. I just had no interest in owning one before that and for people to be able to catch me anywhere. Of course now that I've had one for years I would be reluctant to part with it!

i am 19 when i got my first mobile phone and it is alcatel..got is so that i can call my mum when i am off to college..get stolen by pickpocket together with my green wallet..that was my first phone..how i wish i got my hand on that thief,i will break his body to pieces and feed to stray dog and cat,,so mad,when i remember it..

i got my first mobile phone when i was doing my foundation year in australia... and i was about 18 years old at that time... i got it handed down from my elder brother... i didn't want to carry a mobile phone actually as i loved my privacy... but my parents insisted me on having one as it is too difficult for them to keep in touch with me... take care and have a nice day...

I got my first mobile when I joined the college and had to move away from my home. I daresay that had this college been near to my home, I would have been still mobile-less. Many such cases here, no? And yes, I too was 18 by then.

I got my mobile phone [Nokia 1112] as a graduation gift when I graduated from high school. I lost cellphones all the time, so they made me wait as a punishment. It was worth it, though. I've had it for almost three years now, and I love it all the same.

well, i'll be 25 this year and i got my first cell phone when i was 16. It was just a prepaid one that I asked for and paid for so that I could have one in my car and whatever. Now I'm 25 and I'm going to cancel my current cell phone and go back to a prepaid one. Our phone bill for 2 cell phones and a house phone is $250 a month! I can't handle it anymore! I cringe when I write out the check!

hmmmmmmmm, i have my phone when i was a sophomore high school. My brother gaves it to me. That was a very special gift my brother gaves me. I think that was wayback when i was 15. Now I'm 20 and I know cellphone is very useful nowadays. Not just for friendly communication but for business also.

I got my first phone Sony J26 in 2002 when I had graduated from my university for two years.For the phone, I had to borrow some money from my friends.From then on I have changed 4 phones.Now there is a smartphone Nokia E63 in my hand.

i was in college wen i got my first mobile.. that was way back in 2003.. it was nokia 2100. actually it was the first time that i had stayed away from my parents so they gave me the mobile phone..

When I was in junior high, mobile phones really weren't available to the everyday person. Yes I'm that old. I did outlast most of my friends before I broke down and finally bought one though, I was 31. I would have not gotten one when I did, except my car was getting old and I was doing alot of driving. So, I got one in case I was driving somewhere and my car broke down.
