Would you allow to be filmed when dying?

personally no i dont agree with it, if it was me I would allow a very low level of publicity at my wedding and at various stages thru my fight for life but not to the extent of everyday in newspapers and tv, as when I depart this world I have policies already in place which will look after my family. But everyday I see jade in the news papers and on the tv and its has annoyed me. I have a close family member with a terminal brain tumour and I personally see it as a private fight for life within the family. I think the awareness that its raised is good tho, but to have it in your face everyday in the news paper and tv I find annoying. Especially when she isnt the only person dying of this disease. I will prob get loads of negative ratings lol, but am being honest which is what mylot is all about i guess. Good luck to her kids and family and may she rest in peace.

I don't see anything wrong with it. The money that they can make with that film could help her children especially after she passes away.

If i had nothing more to say in life then definitely not, but if I could take the opportunity to get a really profound message out that would influence the world, and make a difference, then it would be the absolutely perfect opportunity to get the message out. Plus the fact that I'd be DYING at the time, "some" people might be even more inclined to listen.

I think I've read about that one I'm not sure about being filmed when dying though I mean if it's only money my benefactor will get inheritance anyway the rest well they have to work for it, like I and my husband are doing now

ronaldinu....I am sorry, but I do not know the story, so therefore can't comment on this particle story, but I think (am guessing) that you are asking, would you allow your demise be filmed for financial gain, for your children...(hope I am right with my guess. If my children (child) in my case felt that this would NOT be on-going emotional trauma for them, then yes! If it served some purpose for science, yes...but in any/all circumstances it would be their decision, as they are the ones remaining! Hope this made some sense (I am not clearly thinking, as have been up all nite..truly all nite, with my senior doggie (Tosh)...and I think the end is nigh!) It is her wish, probably wouldn't be mine, because I would like my daughter to remember me at my best look. We are all different. Maybe she wanted her children to be secured with money left.

No, I don't but then Jade Goody made her name on Big Brother. She was a very sensitive, confident, forthright, fun-loving person, and through Big Brother, her name became well-known. Her mother was a bit of a blot on the landscape I'm afraid, as she caused some upheaval, and Jade didn't have a very good childhood either, so the general public took to her. Whether this is for financial gain or not is beside the point... the press will print all this stuff because she was popular and it'll sell papers. The mother might as well take financial gain from it, as the papers are going to print it anyway. I'm not so prominent in life. I don't intend to give the media anything to write about me, simply because I'm not the type of person to be able to cope with the limelight and the paperazzi, and I would definitely not SELL my story for financial gain, but I fear Jade Goody had no say in the matter once she appeared on Big Brother and became "famous". Yes, I would especially if it was going to help other people who have the same condition and raised awareness. I think what this woman did was very courageous and made sure her wishes were honored in her last life celebration. I hope I am so brave when my time comes, which I don't want it to for a long time.

I have no idea why someone would want to do this, even if I were a famous person...other than more financial gain. I would not want this not at all!

I haven't heard of this actually, but it is of my opinion that if this was her wish then I see no problems with it .. She made the decision and they followed through.

Since Im not Jade Goody,I guess no media will bother to buy my dying story.lol I think I could also take that if others _may not only be my children would benefit from that.I love to help even with my last story.

I have no idea if I would do that or not, it would depend on the circumstances at the time I would imagine. I don't like to be bothered when I am sick.

How would I know if they are making shots of me while in my dying stage. Of course I dont like it.

If producers will find something special about my life then no problem. I hope my life will bring inspiration to people and will help them live a good life out of my examples. I find nothing wrong filming my life story. Added benefit of course is the financial gain which will help my family.

I am not really sure about this one. I am just not comfortable (although I would not notice it) that people are actually watching me dying. Even the thought of them discussing about it may not be acceptable for me. I noticed that when public talks about certain person, they usually talk about good things. But there are people who cannot just cant stop talking about band things about a certain person.
