We do have many speed cameras and these are yellow. They are easy to spot and there is often a sign showing that a driver is about to go past them. In a built up area the speed limit is 30 miles per hour. Any car that is doing more than that will be caught by the speed camera. There might be a fine, a course about safety that costs about £60 or points on the driver's license.

as i am now in kuwait, here in some roads we can see ,speed cameras. they will there in some areas,in small camera photo hoarding in some main roads. and some areas, speed limit is restricted to below 120kms. if we go beyond 120 kms,we should pay fine . i like this speed control ,in this country ,as it is not there is india, because of which many road accidents are happening .

We are starting to see more and more traffic enforcing cameras all over the place here in Chicago. I don't know if they catch speeders, but they do catch if you try to sneak through a red light. Usually they have signs posted in the area that there are the cameras and then the camera actually has a blue flashing light on it. I haven't been caught by one, yet but from what I understand, if one does snap a shot of you, you'll know it by the big bright flash of light.

I'm actually not sure if they have them here in the US or not. I'm not exactly sure how they work. I'm figuring that they see you speed and take a pic of the plate and send you a ticket in the mail. I think I read that somewhere. It seems like there would be so many problems with them. What if it was someone else driving your car? If they want to catch you speeding then get the men out there to catch you.
