Do you know what a VA is?

Well, do you? If you live in the US or Austraia I think that there is a greater chance that you will know what I am on about than if you live in the UK or Europe. Not sure about the rest of the world. Shall I tell you? Simply, a VA is a Virtual Assistant. Someone who have administrative skills and work for themselves, from the comfort of their own home while saving you - the client - some hard earned cash. A VA is a self-employed Secretary. Think about it for a minute .... A permanent employee spends a lot of time each day/week/month/year drinking coffee, on lunch breaks, making personal phone calls, etc... be honest, we all do it! A VA works for her or himself and so things like making a cup of coffee, having lunch, etc is all done on her/his time and not yours. Also, you won't have to pay taxes, NI, maternity pay, sick leave, holiday pay .... What a saving for you! So, now that you know what a VA is - what do you think - would you have use for one? Bear in mind that a VA often offers personal services too (called Life Management, for example, a birthday reminder service, buying gifts, paying bills, etc), not just your bog standard secretrial jobs.
