Got it memorized??

Can you help me?? Do you have any techniques in memorizing?? Like what would you read first? Please let me know. I want to improve myself in memorizing. It will help me in my studies. Especially on the subjects that needs lots of memorizing like history perhaps. I'll really appreciate if you could share even just a tiny bit of information.

Hi navi - Some people think that putting the facts you need to memorize in rhyming form will help...such as 1492 columbus sailed the ocean blue... Others think that if you make a word from the facts then it will help you memorize them. You just have to try a couple of things and find the one that fits you....good luck!

I think you have to work with what you like first. Some people really like music so they'll put whatever they need to memorize to music and that helps them. Others like to rhyme so they make up rhymes for whatever facts they need to memorize. Some people can just remember words so you arrange the facts so that the first letters of each of the words makes another word - for instance USA stands for United STates of America. I hope this has helped you a bit more.
