I use to do 3 loads of laundry a week, every week, like clockwork, I did my laundry on mondays...every week... had a pattern to my chores and now things are different from last year or 2 yrs ago... as we now have another child and hubbys work is different as well... now, I do about 6 loads of laundry a week, twice a week or we run out of things easy, LMAO, do you notice that laundry or house chores have increased for you?? How many loads do you do a week now?

actually- thank god- mine has decreased. i raised 5 kids and as each one entered middle school they got introduced to the washer and dryer. i told them that unless they developed an intimate relationship with them, they would be walking around in dirty clothes. my youngest is my only child at home and she recently started doing hers. i do for myself and my husband. i run out of wash to do. it is great! i do all the towels for the family, i also have my 23 year old daughter at home. it was crazy back in the day when everyone was little. sometimes i had to go to the laudromat which was nuts. i am happy those days are gone.

Two kids, a 8 year old boy and teenage girl. My wife and I. Clothes get washed at least twice week. Just keeping the house clean is tough. But, she does the inside, its my job to keept he outside looking the way she wants it, and lawn mowed. If I do that she is happy, if she aint happy, no one is happy. lol

we have two daughters and first of all, it depends on the season. i find myself washing more during the summer (because everyone is sweaty) than the winter. i usually do washing about every other day, it just depends on my schedule.

When my kids were home, I used to do laundry every other day and sometimes everyday. But now it's just my husband and me and I don't work so I don't need as many clothes. So I do laundry about twice a week, maybe three. Usually only two loads each time - one with whites and light clothes and one with dark. Have a good lotting day.

I do 3 to 4 loads on Mondays, and Thursdays. So I go threw anywhere from 6 to 8 loads a week. My husband has to have work clothes and regular day clothes so that's what builds up, just as my 18 month old daughter is always dripping something down the front of her, so she goes threw 2 or 3 outfits somedays. It's went down some since she's gotten older, as she was a pretty ill child who vomited many times a day as a baby, so thankfully i'm not doing 2 loads a day anymore.

It piles up that's for sure, seems like I just get it caught up and boom, there's another mess that needs to be washed and dried. Folded and put up. Which I dislike with a passion. The washing and drying isn't to bad, but folding and finding room to put it up, always seems to be the problem. I have never figured out how we can pull these same clothes out of our closets and drawers to wear them, but when it's time to put them back in those same spots, they never fit.

The loads of laundry I do varies each week. I will do laundry on the weekends, that way my kids will have clean clothes through out the week. Honestly, I really don't have to do much of their laundry since they have a ton of clothes. I just hate for it to pile up on me. So in a typical week for a family of four, I do about 4-5 loads of laundry. Maybe more than that when I do linings, I can see why it's called chores. It's a chore just to get the energy to wash, dry, hang and fold clothes. I hang all the good clothes right as they get out of the dryer, that way I don't have to iron anything down the road. Now with other chores, vaccuming and steam cleaning has increased since we got a new dog last year. That should decrease as she finishes potty training. Dishes only increases when my husband cooks, but oldest has to do them, lol.

I do a load of laundry a day Monday through Friday. I try to take the weekends off and spend that time with my family and do fun things. I often have to do an extra load here and there to keep up on stuff. I am going to teach the kids to do a load or two to take some of the load off me.

There's just Hubby and I so I do 2 half loads of laundry a week and then 2 full loads of bedding each week when I change our bed. When we were foster parents years ago, we had 10 ppl living in our house and I was doing 4 loads of laundry a day and changing the beds was an all day job. I think I do 1-3 loads per week. It just varies. For right now, it's just me and my hubby. So no kid/baby to do laundry for right now. I do the bathroom rugs, etc.

Oh gosh, the laundry just keeps getting deeper and deeper. With two teenage girls in the home, it is a never ending job. No one seems to want to use a towel more than once. We have four people in our home, that means 8 towels a day. one load. white clothes, one more load, then colored clothes, the last load. Unless, of course they have a top that needs to be hand washed, and of course they don't know how to do it. so it goes on my to do list.Just can't seem to stay away from the washer and dryer.lol

I probably should do 3 a week but I usually do 2 if I have to I will do 3. I don't mind the washing or even the folding but I do wish they would just magically put themselves up in the cloests and drawers.

It would be depressing to count. I don't want to think about it. I am doing some of the laundry now. 3 month old baby. 5 year old kindergartner. The paste, fingerpaint, the sock that went accidentally into the diaper..AAAHHHGGG! It's a nightmare.
