Who is this kid named "Santino"? Is he from a TV show or a movie or something?

He's from the prime time soap opera of ABS CBN's May Bukas Pa.. He's the little boy who have this kind of power that can heal the sick and ill by means of prayers..

Hello inkyuboz! I haven't watched a tv lately but I know about Santino. Santino is the lead actor in a top rated soap opera here in the Philippines. He is the boy who touches other life through God and has a very good faith in his heart. He was even able to talk God and he performed miracles. You better watch it because it's a nice story which is good for everybody especially for children.

Santino is the main character in the TV series "May Bukas Pa" which is aired in ABS-CBN Channel 2 every after TV Patrol. He is I think an 8 year old orphan who is under the care of priests. He lives in a church in a province somewhere in the Philippines. It shows in the series that he can talk to "Bro" (who is actually Jesus) and is given the authority to heal the sick. The story revolves around Santino's trials and obstacles in his everyday life both as a healer and as a kid. The series is truly inspiring as it not only shows virtues but it also teaches the viewers all about God's teachings. It is a highly recommendable show and I myself would definitely have my children watch it.

Well, I wouldn't expect my children to have medals although it would be a lie if I would say I wouldn't hope for them to have some. All parents desire greatnest for their children and I believe it's just fair to hope for your child to get at least a medal or two. What I would do is guide them to the fullest and inspire them to achieve greatness that they deserve.

It seems like your not a fan of kapamilya. He's the kid in may bukas pa teleserye. He plays the kid who heals sick person and talks to god. He calls god by the name of bro. He is his best friend. The teleserye promotes good deeds and faith to god. You should try watching it once and be touch by the kindness of santino =)

Not familiar with the show, but I think he's the guy from the 'Tide' commercial. I think he started there first before he got the role in Santino.

Santino is from the TV show "May Bukas Pa" that is aired on ABS-CBN every night as part of their "Primetime Bida" programs. The story started as he being an orphan and was raised in a "kumbento" by modern-day friars. The setting is also modern day. I think the place is fictional, it was named Bagong Pag-asa or something if I'm not mistaken. Anyways this Santino boy becomes a hit because he is a boy of virtue. It's like everything he does is well, a parent would also wish for his child. In the premise of the story, since he is an orphan and was raised in a religious place, he doesn't have that much outside contact, he didn't felt that "motherly" love, and has found a friend in God. Since the Philippines is a Catholic country, the show portrays it in a way that the child is talking to a statue image of Jesus, which in turn becomes real in his vision. It's apparent that the show is trying to show how the boy's faith in God changes lives in his community, as he do miracles and stuff, as well as impart lessons to other people. And it became so popular nowadays that it has become a household name, especially to loyal "Kapamilyas" of ABS-CBN Channel 2. There. Have a good day.

Well first of all, i would like to add you to my friend list, because as i see you were very active here in this site and i always made a reply in your discussion. By the way SANTIN0 is the character inthe Soap opera in the ABS-CBN entitled May Bukas PA . This character SANTINO is very popular because he have a ability to be with GOD and even talk to him, this character Santino is very kind kid and very helpful to all people who are lossing hope in there life. And last is he have the ability to heal others or in short he can make a MIRACLE to all people. Well as i know, in my expirience and in my opinion , we need a kid like Santino in order for us to have a miracle in life and to give us a very good inspiration in life. As i know most of the poor people are lossing hope for the reason they do not have money,food and shelter, so i think they need a inspiration who will help them to guide our people. So because of Crisis here in our country,i think the government must go and improved our economy. Well as my opinion because of the corruption here in our country, i think in order to increase or improved the economy we must be wise in voting this coming election, and i think we must think thousand times to vote. I want to share the candidate that i will vote for president if only he will run, the man that i am talking is Senator Chiz Escudero, this man is really great, have a good experienced in politics and very popular.
