My baby boy was born in 26 Feb, and tomorrow will be his one month old. It's really grateful to be a mother, I just can't explain how joyful and thankful I am. Whenever I look at my baby boy, I feel myself very lucky and I feel that my life is more complete now. I am glad I can handle him by myself on his first day staying with me. I always thought I can't manage to take care of a baby well, as I have never taken care of any babies or kids before. Of course, I am still learning how to take care of my baby, at least now I can breastfeed him, help him to change diapers and so on. I think it's just the nature of a mother. I was told to take more rest after delivery, so I seldom came online in the past one month. The labor is an unforgetable experience too. But, when I look at my baby, all those pains can actually be ignored.

Congratulations to you on becoming a mother and i wish you best of everything for your future. You are very true that it is in the inherent nature of the mother to take care of the child and i am glad you are doing it very well.Being a mother myself i know that how it feels to be a mother. It is an experience beyound imagination .I gave birth to my son one year back after suffering a lot of physical restlessness and mental agony and i had a very tough period of 9 months.I gave birth after c-section but the first glance of my baby vanished all pains and tensions from my mind and at that moment i was the most happiest person on earth.

Hi there, thanks for your response. Yeah, it's really difficult to explain how the feeling is being a new mother. When you see your baby, you'll just forget the pain you had. Nothing is more important than the baby.

It is very nice feelings to be mothers. I guess all mothers learn by themselves. Nobody is needed to teach her how to be a good mother.

Congratulations! It is a great thing to breed a child. When the baby can spot your eyes, try to give him as many as eye contact, which is important to render your care. And when he is awaken, try to speak to him slowly and tenderly. He will feel safe when listening to your voice. Another thing is soft touch, which passes on your warmth and message throughout his body, good for physical and mental development. Last but not least, give him a positive living environment to keep him happy and content. While enjoy breeding your son, do not neglect his father, a common issue for new parents.

Ahhh, congrats, kaka135. Yes, during this early stage you need to be getting all the rest you can. That might have been the best advice I was given when I first brought my baby home.... "sleep when the baby sleeps"

congratulations to you. i can still remember and it was all still celar to me the days and the months when my wife is pregnant. we are married for six years aalready but our son is just 3 yearsold. my wife got a lot of miscarriages before we hit the jackpot. we were in and out of the hospital during the miscarriages and she was crying for almost all couples who went out of the hospital is bearing a child and we have none. it breaks my heart to see her like that but i made her strong and to look forward not back. when we finally hit the jackpot the first words she said when she finally held our son was "hi baby, it was worth the wait, you look amazing." i agree with you that it is a mothers instinct that you can take good care of your baby. always make sure that you have our camera to take pictures of precious moments.

Oh a child is a big joy to a mother. I understand your feelings! And that fragile little one is turning a month old. How nice! Sooner or later, without you even noticing, he will soon be leaving his infancy and will soon talk and walk and do so many lovable, wonderful and even naughty things. Ha!ha!ha! I love children too. I think they are adorable.

Hi there, thanks for your response. Yeah, it's really a big joy. I guess being a father and being a mother is different, it's just hard to tell how we feel, right? Every moment when I look at my baby, I feel really happy as he's really cute. Even when he's crying, I also think he's so adorable.

Hi ya kaka135 CONGRATULATIONS I am so glad to hear that you have brought your son into this world with little problems it would seem! I found that when I had my three babies that it was the contractions that were painful not the actual giving birth! I think some things are done purely by Mother's instinct but do take advice from people who have been there and done it!!

I am so pleased for you.Make the most of your baby as these times are so precious and take plenty of photo's of him.He sounds wonderful and babies bring such joy.My youngest is fifteen now.I can plainly remember all my three little babies and feel overwhealming happiness. They are great and so funny, with their little faces, finger and little feet, buying little socks was one of my greatest pleasures, watching their first smile, walk and first tooth.Knowing that you are responsible for all their progress, talking to them ,singing to them, taking them out and showing them the world ,trips to the zoo, paddle in the sea, first swim in the baths.I used to love it after their evening bath and the wonderful smell they have.Dressing them up and taking them out in the pram, showing them off.I am past all that now and do it with my grandchildren. We used to sit and colour paint, and make models when my little ones got older. You are having a wonderful time now and beleave me it is just a sample of what you have to come ,enjoy him and give him as many experiences in life you are able to,the pain is worth it and like you say it fades away as time goes on.Look after yourself as well get rest when you can.I used to cuddle up with my babies and have a nap in the afternoon.Just holding them while they sleep used to send me off,all nice and warm.mine used to look so pleased to see me in the morning and give me a heartwarming smile.I could go on forever.Love him all you can bless you.xxx

congratulations on your baby boy... it is an exciting time and somehow we do tend to just do things naturally like it is in our nature to take care of them..I agree with that. I now have 2 kids, my son is 5 and my daughter is 1...and it is a joy everyday that I have them and look at them and think how much more my life is complete and all the material things and problems doesnt matter because they make my life so much better than anything!! I am glad to hear it is all going well for you!! take care!!

Being a parent is the most rewarding job a person will ever have. Enjoy those moments when the little one is little and still needs you. It will be no time before the little one is grown. My oldest will be going off to college in August and I am missing those moments.

Hi there, thanks for your response. Yeah, it's really great to be a parent, it's one of the most wonderful things in our lives. I am learning to 'let go' when my baby has grown up and has his own life... coz I know I'll sure miss him very much when he's not with me.

Great! My sister-in-law gave birth last week and since it's the first baby in the family, he's one spoiled baby! The baptism would happen on 12th of April, a day before my mom's birthday.. my dad's coming home to attend my sister's graduation and of course to attend my nephew's baptism.. My sister-in-law told me that i'm going to be one of the grandmothers of Cristoff two days ago.. of course, it's an honor to be his grandmother..=) Since everyone's busy, i have took the initiative to prepare the things he needed on that day such as venue, invitations, giveaways among others.. =)
