Yes i do. Especially here in the Philippines where plain white rice is always present during lunch and dinner. I have tried brown rice but i prefer white. I heard brown rice is healthy, can this be true? We also have Java rice here. You know, the orange one. I can eat plain white rice but it has to be paired with something like meat or vegetables. I can't eat white rice by itself because it's not tasty enough.

All rice are rich in protein and carbohydrates. They only differ in colors, aroma smell, length of grain, and the variety of rice. Some are organic and inorganic. It also depend on the harvesting in downland or upland rice. Upland rice generally have less chemicals and when you cook it taste nice and even if their is leftover, the rice never go spoiled and you could still eat it after more than 24 hours..

I like to eat plain white rice but sometimes I like to eat Java or Yang Chow Rice in restaurants
My family used to eat brown rice for a short while but we don't really like it not unless we mixed it together with the white rice before cooking.

No, I don't eat white rice anymore except when I eat somewhere else. Ever since I had a hyperacidity I noticed that my stomach felt better with brown rice. With a sluggish digestive system, I need to take in more fibers. With white rice I can only eat one cup and that's it. If I eat more I'd get indigestion. With brown rice I can eat all I can and not have problem.

Yes, I do.. White rice is a staple food here in the Philippines.. Meal seems to be incomplete without serving hot rice.. White rice is the cheapest type of rice here and since it's recession, we just go for the ordinary white rice.. Cheap yet delicious.. But at my parents house, my mom usually buys a sack of Jasmine rice every month.. It's a plain white rice but it's smells really really good! And yes, the quality is way better than the mundane ones.. yummy!

We are no longer eat the brown rice, we do eat it before. But now, we all eat plain white rice, it's hard to see brown rice in the market. I don't know why but we just don't eat it, even though I know the brown rice has more nutrition.
Have a good time! Maarketing07.

I eat all kinds and variety of rice. But, the common rice staple color in my country is the white rice. Commercial white rice ranges from standard, middle to lower varieties and they were called the Masipag-or the high class rice where it is more polish, cook easily, soft and smell good but it is easil spoiled. Then, their is the so-called NFA rice from export from Vietnam which have yellow color and the American rice which have white and long grain..Then, the Dinorado and the aroma rice or the milagrosa..which have strong scent and more flavorful. The white rice which is low price and hard is the M1 rice..I seen different rices with colors ranging from white, black, brown, reddish and purple rice..which seen in glutinous rice use in sticky native delicacies which called the "malagkit rice" commonly done as suman, biko, bibinkang malagkit, espasol, palitaw, kalamay and every Chinese new year the Tikoy(nian gao), bake as which greatly enhance the flavor of food and is best serve with delicious viand of great food..

at home, we regularly eat white rice.. its the most available and cheapest rice in the market. brown rice and red rice are more expensive than the white rice. so if we have red/brown rice at home, we mix it with the white rice before cooking.

I eat white rice everyday. Hardly eat brown rice or any other kind of rice. White rice is cheaper as we cannot afford to buy brown rice.
