Does anyone have experience with purchases from DealExtreme.com

I have an electronics project that I would like to start soon and I have received a recommendation to use a product that is being sold on DealExtreme.com. I have never purchased anything from this site before. Can anyone fill me in on the reputation of this company? What have your experiences with this online store been like. Thanks in advance.

I don't know what the public reputation of DealExtreme.com is...Personally, I think it's a great site. We have ordered several times from them in the past. They sell all kinds of stuff. When we ordered from them, it was always free shipping. Our items came in different shipments, always with a note of the item number of what was coming later. Even when waiting for the later items, it was very fast delivery...all the way from Hong Kong!!

Thank you very much for your comments craftymom. This is exactly what I was hoping for. An honest opinion about personal experiences in regards to purchases with DealExtreme.com. I have searched online for some reviews and opinions for DX but, sometimes anonymous posts aren't reliable, so I wanted to know what MyLotters thought about DealExtreme before I took the plunge. Well, at least you've got an honest one here plus also a returning customer so I guess that's something more solid
