Recycling Question

So, I have started becoming a nazi at recycling. I will recycle absolutely anything I can, and in recent weeks I have instituted a recycling bin in my office. I am the only one that works in this office, so I know that everything will be recycled now. It makes me feel great that I am doing this. I have been scanning documents rather than making copies, and I have been trying my hardest to not use scrap paper or the fax unless neccissary.
My question is about sticky notes - I have been ripping off the sticky part because I do not know if that part of the paper is recycleable. Is it?
Also with envelopes, where the glue is, do I need to remove that before I can recycle?
Any tips for recycling in an office would be helpful!

from my recycling experiences, no it doesn't matter about the glue (they process paper first to remove impurities). when it comes to paper, I think the only thing that matters is that it hasn't been used for bio-hazardous uses or toxic substances.
