Has started to say his good byes to family and friends after learning that his cancer has spread to his liver. He has given a hell of a fight with the cancer. And I greatly admire him for this. He has become weak and has check his self into a hospital. This is a sad moment for many He has given us so much. He has given us so much entertainment he will be greatly missed by so many. My prayer go out to him and his family in their time of need. God bless them all.

I know what you mean. He is really given his fight & even started a new series called The Beast. That is a good name for his series because of the cancer is a beast. I hope all will be well for him & his family too. He is a great actor & seems like he loves his family which you don't see that often with actors & actresses. God Bless you Patrick & your family I pray you will be OK, you have plenty of fans.

Yes its very sad. I had hoped he would pull through. I found out he had pancreatic cancer shortly after we found out that my boyfriend's father had it. My boyfriends father passed away from it. Pancreatic cancer is the worst one you can get. I hope that some day a cure is found for all cancers.

I've been reading pretty much the same things in the tabloids, while I'm standing in line at the grocery store. These articles are accompanied with horrible pictures, no doubt taken while he was sick from receiving chemotherapy. To verify what I saw at the grocery store, when I got home I checked his website. And happily, I found none of the gloom and doom that the tabloids are selling. While still seriously ill, there is nothing about saying goodbye to family and friends, and nothing that leads me to think that he's given up. In fact, he seems to be maintaining the wonderful optimism that he displayed during recent tv interviews. Here is his website link if you'd like to keep up with what they situation really is. http://www.patrickswayze.net/patrick.htm There is even an address if you'd like to send a card, and a guestbook for leaving online messages.

It is sad. I think it is sad to hear anyone fighting cancer. Especially when it comes out it has spread and their is no hope. I liked Patrick in a lot of movies. I still love Dirty Dancing to this day. My husband watched "The Beast" his new TV show. He was always a good actor. Somtimes we forget how even celeberties are human until something like this happens. I hope they make sure hes not in pain. I know their is most likely no cure and they are doing all they can. May god be with him and his family.

I have not read anything about the cancer spreading to Patrick's liver, except in the tabloids. Have you? Where did you see it? Patrick IS a good actor, and a wonderful human being. I continue to pray for him and for a miracle. But, instead of talking about him in the past tense, I prefer to hold onto at least a shred of optimism. Bless his soul, I don't know how he does it with the treatments he's had, but I know that he's trying to remain optimistic too.

Sad to hear about it. I just can't believed that he is in a terrible health condition. I thought he was able to fight that cancer problem successfully because he was a man of great strength. I hope he will try his best to fight it. He was a great actor and l really likes to watch his films. Lets our prayer be with him and his family.

I read that somewhere too. I think not too long ago he was diagnosed and then he was declared free of it. But lately I read that it returned and he lost his hair due to therapy. I don't remember any famous movie he was in, unless Dirty Dancing. But I might have missed some. I hope he and his family are blessed with strength during this time.

Yes, I have been following news about Patrick Swayze's battle with cancer. He is very courageous especially when he still managed to accept a role in The Beast. Well, right now he just accepted his sad fate, but what really nice is that Patrick done what should be done with his life, he enjoyed it and experience super stardom status, I really loved him in "Ghost" opposite Demi Moore. Whatever happens, I know that Patrick Swayze lived his life the way he wanted it to be and with that I admired him more. Best of luck to his life whatever happens.

Yes indeed it is very shocking when I heard the news. I have lost count about the number of times I have seen Dirty Dancing and Ghost...these are magical movies. I pray that his final days are peaceful and without much suffering because cancer can do so much to you...He will be fondly remembered for his unforgetable roles...I will pray for him and his family.

All we can do is pray for God's strength to be with his family and loved ones as they deal with losing him. I also pray that his passing will be peaceful. He has been very courageous and outspoken about his illness. Perhaps by sharing his struggle, he has helped others who are battling pancreatic cancer. May God's love and blessings be with Mr. Swayze and his family.

He is one actor I really, really loved and was soooooo handsome. When I first learned about his cancer, I thought he would beat this thing because he is so powerful and strong but I was wrong! I saw pictures of him last week and knew in my heart, we were all going to lose him soon, and to think he fought so hard too! I will be praying for him and his family.
