my dog is not eating food?

I know that skipping a meal or two is not a big deal with dogs. Sometimes they do that. But if his activity is low then that means he doesn't feel well. It could be anything from a virus to a blockage (like he swallowed something and it got stuck). I was a vet tech years ago and i've seen some bad things. Tempt him with his favorite food or treat and if he refuses that or any of his bodily functions arn't normal then you have a serious problem.

He can be sick ..No he must be sick because it is not normal so you have to go to the doctor.We can't help you here because even doctor can't hepl you with this problem without seeing your dog so all what you must do is go as soon as possible to the doctor to solve this problem because it can be late soon.If you really love your dog and I know you do,go to the doctor to see what is wrong with your little puppy!!!!

There was a time when my dog didn't eat for 1-2 days. I brought her to the vet. According to the vet, there could be a numbers of reasons why dogs choose not to eat. So, she was done with a body checkout, testing of blood etc. After the test, she was confirm healthy, nothing to do with any serious illness. That was a relief. She was then given some pills to boost her appetite. She started to eat almost immediately there after. I would suggest you bring your dog to the vet. They will know better.
