just because you pray for something doesnt mean you will get it. I never pray for material things or end results. Instead I try to pray for peoples health, well being, and perhaps the strongest prayer is to pray for others who are desperately in need. I would rather pray for those things and help put some positive spirituality into this broken world than pray for a car or something that is of material possession which in the end will not satisfy or fulfill any kind of human void.

He said he will give us all we need! There is a difference between want and need. You don't need an Aston Martin car. You want it. But you need food and shelter etc.

in a word no I dont I prayed for an aston martin and there was no aston martin on my drive the next day. he he he
Tho seriously I dont believe in prayer tho what I do believe in tho is positive mental attitude if someone really believe that prayers work then it will work.
It might not be the god so to speak, it is the power of the human brain which will make it happen if you really believe it will happen.

well god is a subjective matter different faiths have differing gods,
so I dont believe in either to a certain extent, tho I live my life in the catholic way as I think the values are what we need in society not that we all answer to a supreme being which is different in all religions.
If all faiths had a uniform god then fair enough but their isnt a uniform being its all subjective to your particular faith.

I absolutely do believe in the power of prayer. And I believe that all prayers are answered.
The problem is that sometines that answer is "no" and that is what most people can't understand. So they think that their prayers were not answered when, in fact, they actually were. We do not see the whole picture. That's where faith comes in. Trust in Him that the answer was the right one to fit into God's plan.

This may sound like a contradiction, I do believe in God. I wish though that I could believe that prayers are answered, but I do not totally believe that. Maybe my faith is not strong. I pray and pray and pray, but I do not see that my prayers are answered. I know that God does not always answer the prayers the way you want, but I am trying to believe in the power of prayer. I do think though, that when someone else prays for me, it works better than when I pray for myself.
Keep your faith and have a blessed day.

i do believe in the power of prayer because i am actually releasing and declaring myself to the divine being. yes, most of my prayer request has been answered, those i have sincerely prayed for. and there are still prayers that is being processed , mneaning, the divine being is preparing me to receive them. i know he does not want me to receive something if i am not prepared for for it.

Yes I do; I have asked for some things; I would misplace stuff and ask God to help me find them and it worked out. Some haven't but I still firmly believe in the power of prayer. All you have to do is ask and pray in His will and it will be done.

Yes, I do believe in the power of prayer. I have seen many prayers answered and give God the Glory and Praise for these answered prayers. Though they usually don't happen in my timing, they are always answered in God's timing.

I have always been a believer in the power of prayer because I believe in God. I never pray on a regular basis but I just pray when I feel like praying and when my mind and heart desires to pray. I do not pray normal prayers like those found in the book but I pray from the heart. That is why even if I am already a married woman I still do not know a lot of common prayers because I do not really believe in them. I believe that when we pray we should just concentrate with our feelings and thank HIM for all the blessings we received. We should also ask forgiveness from our sins and never forget to pray for our wishes. I have a lot of answered prayers and I believe that HE is the only ONE who gave them to me.

i believe in the power of prayer.
when i was in highschool, i listed the things i wanted. at that time, those were really impossible for me to have or achieve but i still had faith and prayed. i went to the church and prayed the novena and left the letter where prayer requests were collected.
now, as i look back, i realized that all the things which were listed in that letter came true. it didn't come in an instant. but my wishes were granted one at a time...on it's own time...
i also believe in asking the saints for help and that reciting the novena really works.

yes I strongly believe in the Power of prayer, i am a Spritual person, and I try to go to church as often as I can. I pray all the time, sometimes when I am in my car I will pray, today I lloed outside, it was a beautiful day, I looked up at the sky and said thank you God for the beautiful day. I pray often. And if you believe God will answer your prayers too. he might not answer right away but he is always on time. God is Good!

Most certainly I do!! I've prayed for many many things over the course of my life and most times it has come true however, the ones that didn't come true, there's a reason for it and although I may never know what the reason is, God knows and that's all that matters....

Hi momma! Yes, I do believe in the power of prayer! I believe
that in some cases it does really work! I can't say that all
my prayers are always answered, but I can say that the very
important ones are usually answered! I don't like to ask for
too many things and certainly not unimportant things or
material things. I only pray for health things and things
that are really necessary! And I always remember to say thank
you when my prayers are answered!

hello!
yes I do believe in the power of prayer.
Even with little things.
One example is when I need transportation, I would just pray that He provide me with bus or jeep that is not full with passengers, and after a few minutes, there it is.
In praying we just have to be patient, God answers it, in his time.
