Must be the end of the month again.

Of course.I too see many people working hard to reach payout this month.I too have worked hard for a week from the 20 th of this month to reach payout.Thank god i have almost done.I dont want to hurry up in the last minute.So i stared to work hard early.I have not started many discussions but have responded a lot.Happy mylotting.

I get the same number because I have my email set for notify me when you reply to the response I make on your discussion. And I go through the unresolved, plus I will go to the friends started on the mylot page. That makes it easier, although sometimes I feel like a blooming idiot especially because I say "I am not going to answer any controversial stuff like about religions and politics"" but no, I just keep responding to them. I do wish the discussions would come all month and I wish I did not have to look at the silly discussions. I do not start that many discussions a day (usually three at the most and sometimes none) I cannot think of any who can start 20 at one time at the end of the month. What are they thinking about?

It makes no difference to me which part of the month it is. I am constant. If I am at home and not working I am here the whole month and I usually reach payout before the middle of the month. I just carry on exactly the same at the end as I did at the beginning.

You must have all different people on your friends list or way more! I've had about 10 new dicussions people have added since yesterday afternoon in my inbox. I find i post more on weekends as i have more time during the day (not at work) to sit and type things out or respond to things in a thoughtful manner. I also know i will post a bunch more discussions if i'm VERY close to the payout and its a couple days to the end of the month. Not the case this month. I'm bored today though so I'm online.

I rarely post a new discussion. Only when I would like an answer that I am curious about. A lot of my questions are not of general knowledge so I do not post them here and quite frankly I already know everything. Seriously though I find it too late to be doing the questions at the end of the month, I think I tried that once and still came up short. Actually I prefer to sort through the questions and I only respond to a few each day. I am already at payout this month and they introduced the tasks which I am busy at. I wish I could spend more time at the tasks, but I am just now trying to limit them to a few a day as some of them take a long time, but they really boost the earnings here.

I do notice also at the end of the month there are more discussions that i respond to and i barely ever start one because i cant eve keep up with discussions to respond to. I post more in the beginning of the month and then start responding to as many discussions as i can to earn my payout by the end o f the month. We do not have much time to do and i only need 29 cents and i only need 29 cents so I'm not to far from it and I'm sure i can do that just in one day as i usually make around 50 or more cents a day so I'm glad i will be making payout for the first time.

You are right chris, the situation in my mail box just similar as yours. When I login yahoo account, I could see my mail box full of popping up new discussions emails continuously of some friends. The same situation usually would happen during the last few days by the end of the month. To tell the truth, I don’t have much time to do many posts here daily. So I usually would pick those topics which I am really interested only to express my feelings as well as my opinions related to the contents. Of course I would feel glad to try to answer more. But it is rather sorry that I couldn’t squeeze out much more time to reply more discussions, besides to make more money at the same time. Really, I do prefer seeing them could start new discussions regularly, but not during the last week of every month. I hope we could have much sufficient time to cope with most of the discussions by the same person. Take care and happy posting

Yes, I have noticed the same, it happens every month end. I don't change anything about how I do it. I don't usually start discussions and try to respond to a few discussions here and there when I can. My email inbox continues to back up and I try to respond to the one's that I can, but I will always have something to respond to that's for sure.

Hello chrislotz, I prefer to respond rather than creating a new discussion. I don't wait until the end of the month to start a discussion but I guess, most do that just to reach their payout before the end of the month. I can't catch up with all the discussions but trying hard to respond to as many friends as I could. Sometimes I also received a bunch of discussions from the same member. I only respond if I have something to say and if not, I just delete it.

I don't wait to end of the month to get my minimum amount.I try to reach the amount in twenty five or twenty seven days.There was a time when i was just one cent from payout and never made it.Because this is a legit site i come always and post discussions.Now i am in my native place.Here there is dailup connection so my postings are very slow.I have not reached minimum payout this month.I am four dollars away from payout but will try to make seven dollars this month.

I have noticed this phenomenon on myLot as well. Personally, I don't start more discussions at the end of the month than I do at any other time during the month. I probably do respond to more discussions at the end of the month simply because there is much more activity taking place on myLot at the end of the month and the chances of finding more interesting discussions increases. It is unfortunate that members don't spread out their activity levels during the month more evenly, but would you really want to remove the freedom to post here when you want or when it is convenient for you? Perhaps one of the reasons people decide to post more at the end of the month because there are more people visiting myLot at the end of the month and you have a better chance at getting other members to respond then. It may seem that people are making a conscious effort to post more at the end of the month when in reality it is just that more people are visiting myLot at the end of the month, so your chances for discussions increase. I know that there are many times that I have visited myLot at the beginning of a month when I was willing to participate, but there just wasn't enough activity taking place to contribute as much as I did at the end of a previous month. A good solution might be to leave your friends' post notice in your inbox and respond to it at the beginning of the next month when you have more time. After all, discussions are fluid and earnings can be made at any time during a month as you have stated already. Cheers.

Am I guilty of this too?Even if it is not the end of the month yet, I am already writing response as many as I could when I have time. But the only is that, I always came out short each day that I am trying hard. This month I was just trying very hard because I am setting again another goal and that to just even reach the minimum amount. Which at this stage are getting slim as well. This is the first month since I came back from a long lay off so I am trying to get my pace back if I could still cope up with it and will make this month as the basis if I could still keep it rolling.

Personally I try to post new disscussions whenever I get the chance and not just at the end of the month. I am not sure why people do this but it seems a little funny to me. Why spend the last couple of days before payout writting like crazy when you could do it slowly throughout the month? It just doesn't make sense to me. I have had the same thing happen with my email and I am starting to consider turning off the notices because I just can't keep up with everyone. I am a brand new member here so I don't know this yet but I will probably see it by the end of the month. It is the first of the month today so I will have a long way to go till I can see for myself. My mom is a member here and she seems to love the site so I thought I would give it a try also. She has been here for many years and seems to really enjoy it. I know she has too many friends on her list so she gets way too many emails every day but I guess at the end of the month she probably gets even more than if everyone is busy posting to make the payout. I guess I will find out soon enough but since you are complaining a bit about it I may not add to many friends, at least in the beginning until I learn more about the site. Well, it is the end of April now, and I do notice that this site is a lot busier than the first part of the month, and sometimes this might mean more better discussions being started as well. Personally I can never see how some people can start so many discussions and be able to keep up with them as well. I am so far behind these days myself I am just having a hard time doing much of anything. But in reality, the nice thing about myLot, is we are allowed to be an individual and post here as we see fit as well. I think it up to us what will work the Best for sure. Wishing you the Best.

Hi chris, I noticed that routine too and I am not even responding to all those notifications...Most of the people in my list who are doing that are also those who are not active in my post...LOL! I am wondering really if they are earning good in that way? Curious!

Yes, you are right... Why not all the month, why not anytime? That's why many discussions are empty and uninteresting. The surprise comes when especially those discussions get most comments. Why? From the same reason, people answer that kind of discussions they are used with, many of them the same or on the same subject. What do I care, anyway ... I only write when I feel like, open a discussion when there is something new or unclear for me, and this is it. will keep doing that as long as is fun.

i would like to think that i had many response on the only discussion i made yesterday because my topic was interesting. but now i am thinking if i had many responses for the reason that people just wanted to increase their posting before the end of the month. anyways, whatever the reason why i had 30 responses which for me is a very good count of responses already and since i am not good in many interesting discussions to talk on.

I have noticed as well; it has been a lot busier in the last couple of days. I have a certain amount that I can do every day and doesn't change. I don't like taking it easy all month and then working like crazy to reach payout, I much rather keep a steady pace throught the month and I am now struggling to complete responses to most of the discussions started lately!

I am agree with chrislotz, why should not we make more discussions all month instead of posting in the last of month knowing that the paying time has arrived. I do post all the months although i am not all active whole the month but i do not post like crazy in the last of month to reach the minimum payout.
