Diaper gifts are great gifts for baby showers. They're actually really easy to make too. Here's how I make them:
I wrap some colorful, attractive diapers (in numerous sizes) in groups of 6 then cover them with attractive ribbon. You will need 6 diapers for the top, 15 for the middle and 30 for the bottom. Place something special (a doll, outfit or lotion) between each layer. Then wrap some ribbon around the cake and stick some flowers there. You can the place this on a round piece of cardboard that is covered with gray foil then cover the cake with netting or cellophane.
Does anyone have any other tips to make these even better?

That is definitely an original idea. I would love to learn how to make cakes and sell them. Do you have a picture to share? I am such a visual learner. It sounds so cool and I would love to make one of these cakes for my daughters when they start having babies...great baby shower gift!!

Good idea. It is a great way to help anew mother with diapers. You could add more things into the basket as soaps, shampoos, teether, teady bear or soft toys and other things you can afford. I would suggest to tie all diapers of same size together as you mentioned that all diapers are of same sizes.

My friend also makes these and they are a great baby shower gift. They turn out so beautiful. She adds little rattles and such for the decorating and uses diaper pins to pin little things such as pacifiers and such here and there. She has done different themes such as little duckys and uses a rubber ducky for the top and yellow ribbons and little ducky diaper pins and after putting the diapers together wraps the layers in recieving blankets that match the theme. They are beautiful
